Prophet Guarding the hierarchs suites isn't always as dull as it sounds... The Idea The map 'Prophet' started out as a relatively complex idea. I wanted to create a map that resembled the covenant, was beautiful to look at, fun to play on and had water in it. At first I looked at what map could inspire me. To help me in forming a basic layout. The decision was easily made. I loved the looks of the map 'Gemini' from Halo 2, and lucky that I was, it was a covenant themed map! I started out in the water, creating a small puddle with an island on one end, and a tunnel on the other. Somehow, I just couldn't stop putting all pieces together. Like the map was creating itself! Believe it or not, this map was made in just a weekend! (of course, with some polishing afterwards). The Waterpuddle, leading to Sword-island The Name Yes, I know, there's already another map called 'Prophet' (I bet there's a dozen more even), and that map is featured in Matchmaking. My map already had it's name before I learned of the Midship remake's existance. I'm so original! That's not what I'm trying to say, of course! I'm not that arrogant. But how did I get to that particular name? The map Gemini always reminded me of the prophets (seriously, why?!), because of the big statue (Ahh, I get it). This map was largely based on that map, but I wasn't quite able to recreate a statue of the prophet (you should be ashamed!). To remember that, I named the map after what I couldn't create. Where the statue should have been... Already in Love? There isn't much left I can tell you about this map's tale. nothing, other then how beautiful it has become, how the people I showed it fell completely silent in awe. Don't believe me? Thanks! It's a shame indeed. I've already tried everything to make it work! Delete them, replace them, editing their coordinates... I even tried to find a switch which would allow them to go through (just like with the vehicles)!!!! Not to worry though, the map plays better with spartans anyway!
Your map seems verry good, I like the way you forged it. You have my download, I'm going to give this a look!
I've experienced this issue while building one of my BTB/Invasion maps, which I've yet to release as I haven't had a chance to get a test game on it. The problem lies with the teleporter frames. I tried removing a frame from one of two connecting nodes, leaving the other one... and it seems to have no problem letting Elites through. If you have a teleporter frame on both nodes (assuming there's only two on a single channel), I'd suggest removing one. Hope this helps.
