I was looking for a good Arathi Basin map on Halo Reach mainly because I'm a Wow nerd and Halo nerd at the same time. However, I was rather unimpressed with what I found and decided to work on my own and use their game variant. So this is my version of Arathi Basin. A much better account in my book. Without the means for testing and such I leave that up to you forge world. Let me know what you think and if improvements need to be made. This is my first forge map in Reach. I did my best to set it up with as many game variants as possible.. but I believe territories works best. from the looks of it, the map seems to be quite open with very little access for players to traverse the map without being gunned down by any opponent with the high ground advantage. it also seems to not have very much aesthetic appeal or an overall theme to go with it, which could also be somewhat of a problem. finally, the ledge shown in the pictures, seemingly inaccessible by players other than spawning there, seems to be a tremendous advantage over the almost the entirety of the map.
I like The idea of a Map being Built around The pinnacle Island. Also seems like it could Be Played with a zombies gametype? Maybe add more Floating Cover so you cant get sniped from across The Map, supose you used your whole Budget tho? Looks Fun, seems like it Needs a Special gametype to go with it.
Ya, I havent much messed with it since the post tbh and Im pretty sure the budget is shot but most likely with the removal of unneccesary things, this being my first forge map, the budget may still be there. Everyone loves zombies eh? lol
