If you want me to, I'll do all the stuff for the maps on the list already. You can concentrate on putting some more on there.
Sure, I have some other things I need to get done. If there is anything else I nee to do for you to do this tell me.
I remember awhile back (5-6 months ago), I downloaded an Invasion map of which I can't remember the name, but I DO remember it being a 'Covenant Fueling Station' or something to that extent. The Spartans spawned in the sky at the start (Phase 1 and 2 took place in the Canyon), simulating ODST's, and then proceeded to capture one of two areas, one being a satellite I believe, or a COM station and the other I can't remember. Phase 2 had the Spartans heading to the Beachside of the Canyon to capture one of two fueling transport areas, which, after captured, despawned teleporter frames to let Spartans go through teleporters which teleported them to Montana which begun phase 3. Phase 3 had Spartans bringing a bomb to a huge fueling rig, power core, fusion core, fusion station... something to that extent, which again took place on Montana. I just can't remember the name of the map and looked for it on here for a long time, but either I skipped over it or they deleted an amazing map. Does anyone have an idea of what I'm talking about?
Map download links n stuff [br][/br]Summit by MetaWaddleDee Spoiler This invasion map involves 3 main areas: a large bridge Alaska/Montana, a structure atop the Montana 'summit' and a collection of buildings in the canyon.[br][/br] [br][/br]Cargo Port by The Psycho Duck and MattKestral Spoiler Based off of the Exodus level in campaign, Cargo Port is a unique Invasion experience. The spartans must take back the cargo port and recover some valuable cargo. The map is playable in Invasion as well as other competitive gametypes like Team Slayer and One Flag.[br][/br] [br][/br]First Tracks by FlyingShoe ILR Spoiler First Tracks is a medium-sized invasion map set going up the beachside hills across from the island. The phases run Territories-Bomb-Core and take you up a new slope with each phase.[br][/br]
Thanks Berb! Send me whatever is finished and I will edit it in. By the way, you can find First Tracks pictures by searching FlyingshoeILR on Photobucket (must have no spaces!) Here is my description for it too- "First Tracks is a medium-sized invasion map set going up the beachside hills across from the island. The phases run Territories-Bomb-Core and take you up a new slope with each phase." Also, anyone who has made one of the listed maps can offer a description of no more than 50-100 words.
Ok I'll See if I can get the other 2 done. It's alot of coding Edit: Other two are done. Tomorrow I will do three more
Berb, i'm gonna get you new screenshots tomorrow that actually show the map in Invasion instead of standard setup, as there are some differences. I'm also gonna suggest a "player count" to be listed for each map. I'm tired of people complaining about Cargo port being bad with 16 people. Cargo Port by Psychoduck and MattKestrel Spoiler Based off of the Exodus level in campaign, Cargo Port is a unique, vertically-oriented Invasion experience. The spartans must take back the cargo port and recover some valuable cargo under cover fire from a falcon. The map is playable in Invasion as well as other competitive gametypes like Team Slayer and One Flag. Invasion player count: 6-8 players Standard player count: 6-12 players
Same story with Fallout. The images on that thread are outdated as there are a considerable number of changes between the version of the map pictured (v3.3) and the version available for DL (v3.7)
I used the magic of copy and paste to finish it up. Thanks for teaching me how to do that by the way, I didn't know some of that code before. If I can't get pics from everyone I might take a few myself, I'm not sure how I will get their code otherwise.
This needs to stay on the first page. I tried to get this thread stuck, but it devolved into a debate about adding an Invasion tag in the competitive maps section.
Updated with new pictures for Summit and Cargo Port. Still need pictures for the rest though, so link me to your photobucket/ imageshack/ whateveryouuse so I can get them.
I still need to post updated pictures. That and when I went to go take the new pictures I actually made a ton of changes to the map... so I'll be testing v3.8 soon. lol
I wouldn't mind resurrecting this list if I could get pictures for each map, these are all still some amazing designs that I don't believe should be buried. If you are interested and your map is on here (or you have a finalized invasion map you would like me to look at) please contact me and try to get three pictures to me so they can shine!
