Map Name: Focus Weapons on map: Human- 1) Shotgun x2 (6 shots for each) 2) DMR x4 Covenant- 1) Focus Beam Rifle 2) Plasma Launcher 3) Needle Rifles x2 4) Plasma Rifle x2 5) Needler 6) Plasma pistol 7) Plasma grenades x4 Map Description: Focus has been a map in the making ever since early November of 2011 (when this map was called Arboretum and was located in a slightly different area than the to date map). Through constant criticism, approval, revising and completely remaking, Focus sx is to date the best version, out of many, of this map. Focus is a symmetrical map that is located high up off the ground near the beach area at the beginning of forge world. Unlike previous versions of this map, Focus sx has a lot of breathing room. The map is now more open and fluid (for map movement) than any of my other versions, and is a perfect for Team Slayer 4 v 4. Also, the weapons are very well balanced; except as I have been told from previous versions, the focus beam rifle is too over powering. However, some say it is perfect for the map, and so in the end I ended up deciding to keep it in the map. But if I do replace the focus beam rifle, I will probably add the sniper with 8 shots in its place. In conclusion, a lot of time and hard work went into the making of Focus sx, for it has been a project in the making ever since early November. Thus, download, check it out, and continue to either criticize or approve, because who knows, I may revise the map yet again.
Very beautiful and clean designed map I like the style and the way it seems to flow together. As im one who knows how sometimes some projects can take months to reach there full potential, I admire that you kept at it and didnt just blow the project off completely. I am going to give it a download myself and check out some of your neat aesthetics, I enjoy that you found ways to fit windows into the design as I love seeing them used if they dont cause framerate issues . Keep up the good work and im proud that you kept at it and used criticism to your advantage awesome job.

For the two that checked out my map, thanks for taking some time out to reply. Yeah I have been working on this map on and off since early November of 2010. However, I still have not had a chance to test play the map extensively, thus I do not know if I will be reviseing the map yet again sometime in the distant or near future. And yes, one of my goals for the map was to insure that every area of the map looked neat and flowed perfectly into one another. Therefore, I guess I owe the neatness of the map to a stubborn desire to get it done right, but I'm mostly concerned with gameplay, and I won't know how well the map plays out until I get some more chances to test play the map. Anyway, keep forging if it is what you enjoy doing, just don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
