So after somebody kept me going in the forging movement instead of giving up on it, I came up with this map. It has been in the works for 4 days and has not been tested. I am stuck between three of the names and would like to see which one would suit it more. Here are some pics. I will need testers, so if you would like to assist, it would be much appreciated. Feedback is also appreciated as well.
Can't believe there has not been a single post on this! This map looks very interesting, I really like the interesting structure in the middle, and the columns you have constructed. I am assuming this is a symmetrical map? Anyways, as for a name I am not sure if any of those really fit your map. Maybe decide what the center structure is suppose to be and then name the map accordingly? If you need any testers you can always send me FR(Availablemoth)
@availablemoth Actually, it is asymmetrical but has a design that follows the flow of a symmetrical map. I may end up naming it something out of hand lol. And yeah, I would love testers, I never gain the chance to do so and appreciate your offer to assist.
this looks gnarly, i love the pillars and the middle i cant wait to test this map.. in about 15 seconds
I really enjoyed testing this map earlier today. The first thing I was surprised about was the sheer size of this map; it was so much bigger than I thought it would be. Therefor, we need to get another test on this map with 4v4 or 5v5 and not just 3v3 lol. Overall I was impressed with the layout, and because it is asymmetrical you already have me won over! The forging was neat, and the flow and routes were perfect. I would say my only complaint would be that the only way up to rockets was by four grav lifts. I see that as a problem for several reasons. The first would be that the top section could be used as a control point, and I found it very easy to sit up there and pick peple off as they went by. Also, I knew if someone was coming up to get me because I heard the lift go off. Therefor, it was very easy for me to bring their shields completly down befor they even touched the ground of top mid. The solution to that would be possibly creating two alternate paths up to top mid. I have a few ideas, and might just pull this map up from my temporary history to see what can be done. If I find something that works I will most def show you what I'm talking about. Either way this was a solid map, and I can't wait to get more tests on this. I also await the day that it is released!
