It was certainly enjoyable helping set this map up for Invasion. It certainly seems that the map's gameplay is better than Data Hive, while still maintaining the accuracy and aesthetic appeal. I really like how much of the ODST level has been incorporated in this map. From defending the bridge under fire from a wraith, to recreating the risk vs. reward of moving down-field to attack the wraith in the Security Zone area. I also really like what you did with the screenshots. i don't think the Superintendent will be happy that someone blew a hole in his camera.
Yep I wasn't sure what to expect when we fired up that first beta test, but it turned out quite fun. With more testing and tweaking I reckon I can get this to become an awesome invasion map. Yeah and I don't think the Superintendant is very happy now.
I liked halo ODST a lot and I can't play it anymore because my xbox is messed up, but you make me happy by bringing it to halo reach. So, thank you. Ahh, I can still hear that silenced SMG as I sprayed bullets wildly at the covenant. Good times. Anyways, I did play this with you yesterday and I have to say, after all of the little tweaks and adjustments you made after the first test, it played like a charm- Very reminiscent. Hit me up for more tests, man.
Yeah I have to say it was very reminiscent from that initial test onwards, and quite enjoyable! I'll definitely hit you up for tests when I next have them.
I was lucky enough to be in the party when you were doing the first test for this. I've got to say, for a map that was only being tested for the first time, it played great. Definitely looking forward to playing some more games on this Crypto. <3
I had been wanting to make security zone into a competitive TS map but the way you've included it in a larger invasion experience looks great too. Also, excellent presentation with the screenshots. I look forward to this one.
We need to test this some more soon. Also, you need to post more screenshots so all the lonely people can see more of the map. Have you even tested this since the first time?
Thanks chronnex! Thanks borg! Yeah its been tested a bit but yeah defs gonna use a lot more testing and tweaking. Ill try and get some games this weekend.
