Im trying to make a new slayer map which will be my first one and every other map i build the weapons are on the floor and i decided to place them on walls but they keep falling off and when i go fixed or phased and change it to normal it falls down after i start a new round how can i make it stay on the wall without making it Hover infront of my face. Thanks in advance
Short answer: you really can't. Only fixed or phased weapons float, and they cause problems in custom games (like with fixed, you can pick them up once, but after you drop them they are frozen in place). Long answer: you can't do what you're trying to do exactly, but there are alternatives. 1. Lean the weapon up against a wall at ground level. 2. Put the weapon on a thin shelf of some kind - like a block or railing just barely jutting out. 3. Use an object with an invisible piece that is solid. The base of the portable shield can be used this way - if you embed it into a wall, there's an invisible but solid part that sticks out a little bit that you can balance a weapon on, and the shield itself won't be able to be seen. (A quirk of this is that you can then shoot and destroy the shield, even though you can't see any part of it, and the weapon will fall to the ground.)
Set its physics to normal, then place lika a block or something where you want the weapon to float, then place the weapon on top of the block. Wait a few seconds, then delete the block. Presto! you do know that the weapon falls after right ? Just use the Flag stand and make a little Railing with it.
