Mt. Kilimanjaro is a symmetrical map containing an active volcano. The map is designed for a custom game type called Lava Ball (link below) in which two teams attempt to plant a neutral bomb at the top of the volcano. The challenge is that the volcano is constantly spewing "lava" upon all who dare to ascend its slopes. The shield doors provide cover without enabling one to hide and the fire bombs/spike grenades work well in combination with them. Everyone spawns with SMGs and there are two spartan lasers on the map. There is one custom powerup (that never returns) that enables you to run at 200% speed. The game is meant to be fast paced, and plays well anywhere from 1v1 to 4V4. The more players, the more difficult it is to score. This is the first map my friend and I have made, so take it easy. Hope you all enjoy. Lava Ball: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=20955122 Download Map:http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=20955636&v iewreplies=true
Looks pretty good, just you will want to delete your other topic, looks like you clicked twice and it double-posted.
Looks interesting. I don't care to much for the shield door idea. It looks really empty outside the volcano, maybe add some solid cover.
the map looks pretty good. but when you said that it is constantly spewing lava, wouldnt it make the map laggy since its made from fusion coils?
Are the fusion coils actually spewed from the volcano using lifts and mancannons, or do the fall from the sky into designated targets near the volcano's mouth?
very nice awesome volcano really good lava technique making both fusion coils inside and outside. very nice looks like it would definitely be fun! great job!
nice idea, i had an idea kindof like this, but u could enter the volcano. good job with the fusion coils though, a nice addition.
Pretty good for your first map but are the fusion coils coming from every where or just flying everywhere from the volcano. Because coils can go through sheild doors
looks ok the basic circle shape is kinda off in the pictures but the volcano looks pretty cool, and the grav lift was a good idea, cut the shield doors tho, and add solid walls
