ill cut you a little slack because i posted my first map three times accidently but as for the actual map i see you used a lot of prefab buildings. which can be fine if you use them in interesting ways. But here you did not. The use of all the buildings makes the map bland and boring. i would suggest expanding on your creativity and making buildings out of forge objects. Also this map doesn't have enough cover. one person with a solid DMR or sniper could hold entire sections of the map. especially because by doing so they would be making access to the rockets nigh impossible. in addition to this there is only really two layers of combat. ground floor and buildings, which makes being on ground-floor suicidal and being in the buildings overpowered, plus all the buildings have LOS on each other so what it would turn into is a few people holding down the buildings and slaughtering each other and those unfortunate enough to be caught on the ground. i apologize if im being a little harsh but im trying to help. one thing i really do like is the middle building. it has the perfect combination of cover and vantage points. it isn't overly defensible or easily taken, it lacks just a little bit of creative aesthetic flair. but if you added that in, just something eye-catching, tall, and pretty, it would solve 3 problems. it would cut down on the usefulness of the towers, which are overpowered, by blocking there LOS to each other, it would give people on the ground more cover from the towers and it would give people an object to guide on and would draw game play out of the towers and onto the street making the game play more halo-esque and in my opinion better. I hope my droning on about this can help you either improve this map or make another one that is more flowing in game play. But all in all a great first map. (far better than my first map back in the halo 3 days) i wish you success in your future forging endeavors and all that stuff. And by the way, welcome to Forgehub! We have cookies!
