I have seen quite a few maps which have a number of trees in the map which work well for aesthetics purposes. The rest of these maps is usually made out of forge pieces so the terrain which the tree is in is not visible whilst playing. This combination of structures with plants/trees works quite well if it is pulled off correctly I'm just wondering which area of forge world is best to start creating your map for this purpose as I am going to attempt to make a map with with trees and "tin cups" serving as aethetics. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.
Just fly around and pick one. There's no specific place that works best - it very much depends on the shape of the map you're going to build around it. Generally if you want just one or two trees, you need to find a spot where the trees are fairly elevated compared to surrounding terrain, and you won't have rocks, plants, hills, or other random stuff encroaching on the space of your map.
