Propulsion is an infection mini-game made by Packeranatic, which was indirectly inspired by a Halo 3 mini-game called Torpedo. Torpedo was a great game itself, however it was cramped and too easy to "break" the fun of the game. So I set out to not recreate Torpedo but to find a similar use for propane tanks. What I eventually wound up forging turned out to not be all that unlike Torpedo, but as you see from the pictures below, the map still has its own flair.

Two zombies spawn around the humans, it is their job to infect the humans by lighting the propane tanks.

Humans spawn in the center, and try to avoid the propane tanks. If you die by a zombie's propane tank, you join their ranks.

"Gosh dang it Bobby! What a waste of propane."

And a video for all of you wondering how it plays. This is a clip from a quick game with four people; it played very well.

What's wrong with monster trucks, zombies, and racing??? And isn't this also zombies?

Anyways this map looks pretty cool. I never even heard about the halo 3 version of this game, but I'll download this one and try to play it when I get a party. The only problem I could see happening is a human finding a spot to sit at where it's very unlikely to get a propane tank to. I'm sure you've figured that out though. Great idea even if it is a semi remake

The propane tanks are very unpredictable and are able to fly across the map, all of the times I have tested this players had to keep moving to survive, I have yet to see any successful camping.

On a side note, the propane tanks are all on a 5 second respawn to ensure a constant barrage of explosions.

It's actually pretty fun. I think that the humans should have greater health however, where they are capable of surviving for longer periods of time, and enduring at least one explosion. This would probably double the play time, and make 16 player mode even more insanely awesome!

The reason I chose to go with less health was to make it less frustrating for the zombies. Every once in a while I'd play a game where the propane tanks just don't want to hit the LMS, and multiple hits from propane tanks to kill would just complicate things.

Thank you, though like I said it was indirectly inspired by the Halo 3 mini game Torpedo.

Well, I could name a couple other very creative maps, but I'll take the compliment instead. =D
