Porcupine is a mini-game from Halo 3's repertoire, remade and adapted to fit Halo: Reach's mechanics. There are several differences between the original and the remake. The first is that Forge World has no gloomy FX or dark sky to plainly see the spikers coming at you. This is countered by Coliseum walls taking up a good portion of the map. The second difference is that you can't dual wield in Halo: Reach, and the number of spikers, or quills, coming at you is reduced. To make up for this as much as possible and add to the chaos, newly infected are added to the zombie platform. One last addition to the game is armor abilities. Borrowing an idea from Darth Human, the Humans get to choose their class at the beginning of each round, however, cannot use their armor ability unless they are the last man standing. And lastly, here's a short video on the game: Porcupine (A Halo: Reach mini-game)‏ - YouTube So, let me know what you think! =D
It's up in the tester's guild right now if you want to get in on that. If not I can invite you sometime today hopefully. Looks like I forgot to mention the spiker shots kill in one hit.
If you put bottomless clip on that should easily make up for the lack of dual wielding, although getting rid of one life is a great idea. Try giving zombies a choice of needlers and spikers.
Bottomless clip is on, and although needlers have been considered, I decided to scrap them in favor of having a more ominous presence of spiker shots. EDIT: Needler shots don't go near the distance of spiker shots, just tried it a while ago.
