    AMPLIFY

Welcome to my latest map, Amplify.

It's a symetrical map thats made for 2v2 purposes mainly (but is still compatable with up to 4v4).

I'm very proud of the way it turned out and capture the flag works very well for it with my experiences.

There are 2 main bases (red and blue base) were the 2 teams spawn.
There are 2 neutral bases imbetween them on the sides. Thats were the snipers spawn (both 0 spare clips due to the size of the map).

Connecting each base is a curved/bent bridge that gives descent cover and tactical advantage when faced with an enemy.

And also a rocket launcher in the center bottom (zero spare clips too).

Controling power weapons is key to a great start of a match but doesnt drag out the entire gameplay.

Now that you have a good description of it, feel free and enjoy the map...

Security, aren't you Tom's friend? Ok, on topic, this map has a nice simple design that has a neat set of aesthetics but seems to need something to prevent a instant combat zone since red and blue base have a long stare off. Also, I like how you added extra bases instead of going for two main ones, which seems unoriginal and your curved bridged help break away from a edgy style 99% of maps have. I like the map other than the LOS.

If there was a sort of play list that would be Doubles MLG this would be a great map, but like Sugar said, its a little too much like a stare off with no cover in the "death zone" middle. Maybe add small cover to the middle? Somthing like that I think would help your map.

Yeah several people have mentioned that to me so I'll have to see what I can do about that.

Awesome job on this map, it really came out great. Lots of nice aesthetics and a well layed out. I like the two bases and the use of shields to differenciate the two bases without the use of lights. The curved bridges look great and provide variations in height. Definitly got your style of forging too which is great that I can tell from looking that this is your creation. I would probably prefer this map, 3v3 in objective games. Nice job :)

The map looks to be well done. I'd like to know more about the weapons on map besides the rocket launcher. For 2v2 though it seems perfect given the size, layout, and structure.

First off, I love those curved ramp thingies. Now to the problems, this has nothing to block lines of sight. Meaning spawnkillers alike will prevail. There are so many objects inside of each other with different textures that it looks like **** and could z fight. All of this feedback is speculation from your pictures, which if they stop to think, will stop them from downloading your map.

Umm.. Thanks for your feedback? I've played ctf on the map and spawn killing isn't really an issue for me. Most people dirrect their movement around the edge of the map and you spawn a decent distance from their location. And the curved bridges (glad that you like em) blocks fire from base to base. And the center doesn't really need much cover since the fact that you have a lower area to drop down to if your taking fire. Once your down there, you can also possibly pick up a rocket launcher and you have 4 safe and covered paths to chose from to get out of whatever situation your in.

Anyways, thanks for your opinion though.

Unique design with the bases and the middle section of the map. It looks like it will play well too. Here are some things I might consider.

    1. Main bases see small, ever think of making them bigger or more in them.
2.Try to change the pieces you have used, I really don't like 2x2 steeps.

Funny thing is... I've always HATED 2/2 steeps, they never gave a smooth incline. But I couldn't find anything that wouldnt take a bunch of room. Maybe a 1-way shield facing up?
Idk. I might be able to fix it soon.
