Hello, Forge Hub community! I just recently finished my latest Forge project, and I want to share it with you guys. I have seen many different Forge Scarabs before, so I decided to give it a shot making one. The results of the Scarab are quite astonishing in fact, because it looks very similar to the campaign Scarab. My Scarab map has all of the features a normal campaign Scarab would have, plus some nice extra things, such as Covenant crates, or barriers aboard the scarab to give it a more alien feel. All parts of my forge Scarab are smooth and for the most part, flawless. I did an adequate job on the legs, I could have made them slightly better, but the rest of the Scarab is dead accurate. This map is meant for aesthetic purposes only, and is not intended for normal custom game gametypes. This map plays best when in Forge or default Slayer.

Don't be lazy. It's not that hard to click a link.

Mr Pot, what color is the Kettle?

Your post isn't up to standards. Fix the following issues, or your post will be Locked.
    • All map posts require at least one embeded picture or video.
    • Add a description of at least 500 characters. (it's easy)
    • Give information about your map.

Follow these few steps and you'll have yourself a great map post. For future reference, read the
plainly marked Rules when visiting new forums. It'll save you a lot of time and correction.

    Cheers.

Yeah, it's probably a good idea to edit your post like that guy above me said. As for your map, the scarab looks... blocky, as if it was built from legos. the smoothness is undeniable, but the shape is a bit far off from actual scarabs. Most of them have a smooth, rounded aesthetic that implies a more insectoid, organic feel. Perhaps you could edit it in a version 2. One of the many models that I've seen, for example, used curved walls extensively to nail the look and feel.
