I'm pretty sure this isn't considered a remake. Remakes are replicas of older maps. Your map makes significant changes to the original design. This would make the map more of a version 2 than anything else. As for the map, the only thing that really stands out is the roof. It is a beautiful roof, but the rest of the map doesn't look up to par. It looks cluttered with unneeded pieces such as the columns in the ground. Also the cover that you have created for this map is unoriginal. You should use something other than walls and cover pieces. Try to think outside the box and use some kind of different piece. It also would be very helpful if you post an overview of the map. It would really help players tell the overall layout of the map.
Accidently pressed remake gonna change it. Thanks I toyed around with the columns but everything else looked to "Over-the-top" and "bulky" might go back in and change it. That area always kinda pissed me off LoL Can't the whole map is on the Quarry and cant go tht high in Theater.
You can place a teleporter receiver outside of the top boundary. Then place a sender to go through. Then just watch your forge monitor until he goes through the teleporter. After that you can go into free roam to take your picture.
yeah but thts takes too much effort 4 me lol im lazy oh tht and i have 2 many brace large pieces in the air for u to c the layout even if i did delete the ceiling and did the teleporter thing point is its hard for me to do it but if the map was anywhere else it would b easier to do [br][/br]Edited by merge: also i just did a V3 version were i COMPLETELY redid the back rocket launcher spot (the place w/ the columns u hate) so theres no columns and also redid the rock wall on blue side to look more natural ill post a new thread once ive thoroughly gone over the map and made a couple more tweaks
The falcon tower is unnecessary aesthetic which could affect the performance of the map. Unless it's playable you don't need it regardless of how 'cool' it looks. The columns in those long hallways are sloppy cover and crates or wider pillars would be a better alternative. Otherwise, nice design.
All aesthetics are unnecessary the point was to bring a story to the map as well as gameplay, unless your a "vehicle *****" there should be no reason y it would effect gameplay. But as 4 those columns they rnt exactly 4 cover. They are tall enough 2 crouch behind but in my newer version there not even there *the whole rocket area has been reformed
