Hey Guys, Its Jet Sof 117, I got a great map for you. Its pretty much this, your trapped in a Silo, you got gunz and so does your team in the Silo, there are different objectives (territories) to capture. The guys in the Silo are the defenders with awsome ammounts of gunz. The guys spawning under it have no way of getting into the Silo, there job is to run around nad capture the objective, once all five are caped, the runners win. The defenders then switch sides, etc. Defenders can not get out of there Silo, Defenders must shoot and hope of splash damage or killing the runners. Dont worry, theres plenty of cover around. If the defenders can't leave their "silo", where's the challenge? The game will either be overpowered because there's nothing covering the territories, or because there is too much cover. Seems a little... pointless. But I guess I'd have to try it before I make a final judgement.
This looks similar to an old but fun featured minigame back in H3. IT had the same concept of stationary defenders and mobile attackers. I will try it out and see how fun it is. Although a note for future reference, i'm not sure shade's would prove all too useful here. I think explosive weaponry is much more plausible.
what are the weapons the defenders have for defending, if its just the shade turrets seen in the first picture then the defenders would be pretty screwed, I recomend starting the attackers off with a dmr, a needle rifle and a couple of warthogs and the defenders with snipers and lasers to keep the balance
I was thinking the exact same thing! Anyways, it's good to have a remake of Halo 3, even if the remake isn't intended. I'll have to try this out on live, but I'm happy this made it to reach! On topic: The map doesn't feel aesthetic, in my opinion. You want your maps to have good gameplay so people have fun and nice aesthetics so people are (for lack of better words) attracted to the map. The silo looks kind of like you made it in 5 minutes. You might've wanted to make it more smooth.
