Basically, I didn't want to simply put this in the video section because as it is a video its more related to forge then simply entertainment so I figured this section would be more appropriate. Introduction But nonetheless I'd still like a moment to introduce you all to my newest project: Let's Forge! . Let's Forge is an idea I had attempted back in Halo 3 but stopped due to personal reasons but I can now say I'm far more committed as I have 6 episodes fully edited and ready to upload as time passes. The main idea behind this concept was to complete the entire building and testing phases of map making all being recorded on video every step of the way. I have 2 hours of footage of map making all edited and ready to go with added voice over. So I come to you, to show you what I've been working on. This is the first episode and I know Forgehub as a much more.... knowledgeable community then that of youtube's. So it would be greatly appreciated for your guy's support and feedback on this series I've started. I was actually in the process of proposing (starting another thread), something similar to a graphic worm, except adapted to be a forge worm, where one person starts on it, only builds a little of it, then passes it along. I have two questions -- Is this what you are doing in this video? And can I still post my thread idea?
I do like this idea, and through this style of video I think everyone can learn though just seeing how you forge, which is obviously carefully and with both gameplay and visual appeal in mind. I would like to see where this invasion map of yours goes too, they always do intrigue me. Good work on the video, keep it up!
Basically this is what I'm doing. To a degree that is - I'm just taking feedback/ideas and applying them. And by all means do what you had planned, no ones stopping you In fact, I'd like to see it myself!
I liked this idea when you did it in Halo 3 an was not too happy to see the videos end. Hopefully you can finish this series of vids as I'm looking forward to watching the rest. Nice job and I'm sure others will enjoy watching.
I wanted to continue that too however I was doing other things at the time and my computer started to go wonky (editing wise) and it was hard to push content out so I ended it. However this time I've got a new computer and already 6 episodes recorded and fully edited.
Nice video, you're improv commentary is definitely entertaining, better than being staged. And if I'm on when you are, I'll help test your maps. I'm anxious to see your water map..Drainage I believe?
I've thrown that map up on the testers guild, also I'm always on trying to get some customs going because Reach is dead, at least on my friend's list so I'm looking for people to play with all the time.. PS I've updated the thread with all the new episodes.
