Its seen days where I thought I’d post it for a 2v2 Throwdown Tournament, but then I went back to the drawing board and expanded the geometry to accommodate more players. At one point Plato’s Cave held teleporters that sent you around Forge World’s natural caves. I was trying to create unique gameplay dynamics, but that too I erased. Now, Plato’s Cave is a long forgotten underground temple carved into the planet’s mantle centuries ago by the Forerunner. Plato’s Cave contains the only known entrance to an allusive temple located deeper in the planet’s core. The map contains many rock paths that lead to upper and lower levels. The map contains a high ground where the read team spawns, and a low ground where the blue team spawn. The map also features a huge elevator system not seen in these photos. The map is suited for asymmetric, one-sided Big Team Battle games. 11 gametypes are ready to be tested. I also have written fiction to help make the experience all the more visceral for you. Very interesting temple concept and fiction intro. The elevator system also sounds cool but hard to capture in pics I guess. I especially like that this is big enough for BTB given the limited number of rock pieces. A word of advice though: some of the rock structures look odd and in strange clumps. I realize you're going for how rocks look random in real life, but I don't think the seastacks are your friend here. I have just now been really learning the uses of the flat side of the arch rock piece, which is almost as large and less laggy than the seastacks. You might try using more of those to create smoother and better looking rock structures, especially with the walls and ceilings. Also, if lag ends up being a problem given the lights on natural pieces, you might try removing those and putting in more colored pieces to make different areas more distinguishable. Other than that it looks cool and i look forward to the end result.
