Bee Bashers is a simple minigame with two teams with two different objectives; to survive and to eliminate. Players who spawn in mid air will descend to their Banshees after capturing the territory that encases the area of play for the Banshees, or "Bees". The Bees' objective is to merely survive until the score limit 150 points is reached, while the opposite team must eliminate the Bees by disabling their Banshees with a well placed Plasma Pistol over charge, or Grenade Launcher shot. If stalled, the Banshees will descend to the opposite team's (the Bee Keepers) area of play, which has kill barriers separating the two, meaning to win, you must stay airborne. Players that refuse to enter a Banshee at the start of the round will die within 10 seconds due to a soft kill barrier that sits on top of the walkable areas within the Bees' area of play. There is also a soft kill barrier at the top of the map to prevent the Bees from camping up top. There are 4 rounds per match, and teams must score as many points as possible by staying alive, or reach the previously mentioned 150 point limit. I have seen something like this in Halo 3, but not with Banshees. This seems to be a very enjoyable game to play when you get like 10 people to play. I do have one question though, how did you get the bee keepers to not die below but when the banshees fall, they die?
The space between the bowl area, and the large area where the Banshees can fly around is separated by a pair of Kill Zones. The Bee Keepers can't jump, so they can never touch it. If you still aren't quite sure, take a quick look in forge, then you should understand.
Ugh. Why must you do this to me? Why does every good mini-game need a huge party size? I mean really, this concept is amazing, original, and enjoyable. So why must it be out of my reach? I just wish people started making fun minigames with a smaller enjoyable party size.
Looks nice i will dld and test it out. good job EDIT: loving the thumbnail picture, looks like a banshee just came out of slipspace
lol i love how you used the song from the beekeeper part of castle crashers for the video, and this looks like an oiginal , fun gametype with a great design a look for a map. Ill see what my friends think of it.
