Feel free to lock/delete this thread once it's been answered but I've had a difficult time finding this and I feel quite nubish asking but.. what exactly is "Z fighting" I've seen the term thrown around a bit lately and I haven't really been here for reach much so I'm left in the dark when it comes to a few things and I'd really like to know what this is.

    Thanks in advance.

When more than one object is in one place, it produces a flickering effect. It is also referred to as the butterfly effect. It is when both objects are "fighting" to be displayed, when only one actually can.

Don't you remember it in Halo 3? You were a pretty prominent forger in those days and I'm surprised you haven't heard of it.

I just called it flickering, hadn't known "z fighting" was it's new name. To be honest I thought it was combat in a Zig Zag pattern , I was really confused.

However thanks broccollipie for clearing that up for me :p

    Locking my thread now.
