"The encroaching vegetation is no longer the only threat to this ageing complex."

Welcome to my first Forghub map post. And now your thinking, "Aww another new-to-forge poster". Well I am new to posting, I'm all but new to forge. I've enjoyed forging ever since Halo 3 first came out. Of course at that point forge was a new last minute idea. But as forge itself has grown so has my ability. I've forged on Reach ever since the day after it came out. And finally I believe I've created something worthy of my first post.

    The Map

When I first started, I had a faint idea of what was to come. I wanted a small, easy to traverse map you could play with a few friends. After a few days of slow forging and playing MW2, it was ready for some early tests. The first was a 1v1 that showed some small problems like an overpowered gravity hammer and camping of the ladder room. After some more intense Testers Guild runs and a few more of my own, some more minor problems arose. Luckily the were easy fixes. All reviews of gameplay have been good. I think the map has good face paced action where even if you have a power weapon its easy to get overrun.

    Weapons List

There is 1 of everything except for a pair a Plasma Grenades.

    Weapon/spawn time/spare ammo
    Grenade Launcher/150sec/1 Grenade(not on oddball)
    Focus Rifle/180sec/
    Shotgun/180sec/0 shells
    DMR/60sec/1 Magazine
    Needler Rifle/60sec/ 1 Magazine
    Plasma Reapeter/60sec/
    Needler/60sec/1 Magazine
    Healthpack/5sec/
    Overshield/180sec/
    Plasma Grenades/45sec/

Solid map. Ladder idea was cool and overall the map has a cool theme. Good job, had fun testing oddball.

This was a pretty fun map. It all played well besides a tiny bit of flow issues, like how we would walk the same figure 8 most of the time. Did you happen to add the soft-kill at the back of the teleporter to keep people from camping? (though allowing players to stand ON the teleporter to block it. Just not behind it or else the ball would reset evertime you went though)And in the rocks where the oddball could get stuck without chance of picking it up? Then, of a pattern in king of the hill for the hills.

Those were the only problems, I personally found with the map. Besides that it was pretty nice. :) Keep up the good work.

PS: The ladder is awesome. I don't usually do this, but if you and jaguar don't mind I may use it or suggest use of it in others maps. :)...?

Yes I did fix the part in the rock and the teleporters are completely blocked from use on oddball. Thanks for the feedback and if anyone spots any other problems I'd be happy to update.

Cool map but a bit clunky though. Some neat ideas too.

I like the look of this map because of all the little things you put into it. Like the latter and the benches with cushons.

Great blend of natural and structural pieces really makes this map stand out to me. The aesthetics look great and the orange color theme for the map fits it very well. My only complaint it the benches, they don't fit the map at all and they look a bit sloppy- Benches with pillows on a map like this? No no no. That's just my opinion though. I really love that ladder too as many have mentioned, but is it functional? If so, that'd be really awesome and very creative. I'm going to put this one on my download list and I'll try to get back to you on how it plays out. Great work.

This is a wonderful start in forgehub and stands out in my eyes. The natural stands out and gameplay seems very fitted. The weapons felt very set but the focus rifle was the only one I was concerned about. Originality was found here and I hope to see more from you, well done.
