Sentinel Forged by Unoverrated So I've never went out of my 4v4 norm forging style, but yesterday I decided to whip up some sexyness. The map is a hillside map where both teams fight for the top. It currently features a central jump pad and two teleporters with 2 receivers that are random. This means that if you block one the person chasing you will go through the other one. Wait a second...I've played this map awhile ago with Rho and Rorak and Career. Anyways, I really enjoyed the gameplay on this map. It was smooth and I really liked that you had various height variations that were not overpowering or too easy of a control point. I also liked that little jump pad that goes up through those glass boxes- definetly a nice touch. Not to mention the aesthetics. You did a great job on this map and I look forward to seeing more maps that are as solid as this one from you.
Holy Crap, yet another awesome map from you. you should have really released the maps as a map pack. (On Topic)- i do love the height variations, as Eightball said, it really gives an urban feel to the map.
Well these maps have been released for a while, I just post on MLG more obviously. Rorak convinced me to post them here so I did. I actually did have a map pack planned to be released on friday but one of the maps failed so I just released conduit, and Haze is on its way. Glad you like them
I played a quick game on this and I must say it played as well as it looked! The jump-pad in the middle was perfect and the blue portal was another great way to flank any enemy holding the top. I also like how from the top you can see battles happening on the bottom and middle level which made the map that much better. Keep up the great work!
