I have found a new way to make objects float. I found this on my own and waited to see if anyone was going to post it so I decided I would. To do this glitch you can't be connection host. So this means someone else must be in the party and they have to be the connection host.
    _________________________________________
First you hit X and find the object you would like to make float. Now hit A then X extremely fast. Now you should be holding your object and be in the object menu at the same time

While in the menu and holding the object you can hold down the back button to move it around just a little. I would try not to because it isn't very helpful. Now hit A on any object (it doesn't matter which one.) Now you should be holding your second object and the first one should have fallen on the floor.

Now delete the second object with they Y button.

Now you should see the little cone shaped thing which means the first object will respawn there. Now either wait for the first object to respawn or start a new round. Starting a new round is quicker though.

I hope this glitch helps many of you with forging. :)

You could always just have him start a game then join. Hopefully he won't lag out though

Move far enough away to not pick up the object when you hit a.
    Bring up the item menu
    Hold (back)
    Move forward
Pick it up, still holding back
    Let go of back
    voila, holding with item menu

    DQ showed me this.

Yeah I would have known it earlier but Alby booted me so he could tell Corduroy Chuck in secret.

This looks very helpful. Exactly how much can you manipulate the object once you start the process? You said it does not help. What exactly do you mean?

    Thanks.

Okay, this is new to me, but it's also incredibly awesome. I never knew the back button did anything.

Wow. Would using a guest account to forge with work? Guest acc wouldn't be host if ya see? Hmm...

By this I mean it is very dificult to move it around while holding the back button so I would suggest moving it only if you just need to make a very small adjustment.

Im sorry but this doesn't work because you and your guest have the same internet connection.

I found this already, the only prob is you need some good lag. When I did this I was connection host + party host. But I never knew about the back button.

Maybe you only did it while being connection host due to the lag but I don't really know. You dont have to have lag to do this glitch though. I do it all the time with no lag at all.

You don't need lag, it works just fine.
One problem I have however, is what if you do this on the bottom of blackout, for example? Isn't eh object that gets dropped lost forever pretty much? That's bad, especially if it's money glitched :(

Too bad this won't work with MG maps. Because of the deletion.

I'm pretty much just gonna stick with normal S&Q for floating stuff.

Well, it actually works on the bottom of Blackout. The box will still respawn at the place you put it.

This is pretty cool. :) and yeh the box won't delete cos it's already been placed, it's like pushing a fusion coil off the map, it'll respawn where it was originally placed, it won't get deleted randomly :p

my friend showed me this a while ago, and I found a host way to do it. its just as easy.

spawn the object. then press X to bring up the spawn object menu.
then press back and move close to the object and while pressing back press A to pick it up.
and keep holding back and move to where you want
and then let go of back and spawn a respawn point. (they are free so you can delete them if using a money glitch)
