    Background:

    Failing at a combination of a Glass hallway and optional top control in a few Halo 3 maps, I wasn't about to let my idea's go to waste. Fortunately this combination of ideas came to me in a dream. The map I dreamed up had this awkward bonding of red and blue base separated only by glass. The bases were facing away from one another creating longevity between the teams. Its Symmetry gave each team an equal chance at maintaining either the first, second or third level. Having the bases somewhat centered on the map gave each team a hub for spawning with multiple options from the get-go. It's very balanced with long range and close range combat and overall I am pretty happy with the way the map turned out after forging.

    Sorry if you don't have the Noble Map Pack and you cant enjoy my awesome creation. To my understanding, Screen lag is a lot less prominent on Tempest then Forge World, so I used Tempest instead. Plus the lighting is like Woooaahh in comparison.

    nice looking map. but the power weapons, such as the sniper and rockets, should be on 180 sec respawn. that the typical respawn time for weapons like that. you always want a clean, fair, and balanced match instead of rockets and snipers going off every 10 seconds.

    I like the map though. and tempest allways gives it that bright refreshing look to its maps

    Your GT fits your ability to forge. Well done on this work of art, I only wish you could have bigger windows in forge :(. I saw all your other maps and was intrigued by what you show to the plate. I like your ability to create, My GT is DHG Redemption7, I look forward to see what you can do.

    I was trying to go off MLG settings, which I thought is a 2 minute respawn for both sniper and rockets. Given its a small map i know it's pretty hectic having three major power weapons and extending the timer on them might be the right idea.

    Where are you getting your information? Every map in the MLG playlist has sniper on 118 second respawn (2 minutes including 2 second drop spawn). xInfamous2x is obviously just keeping to that standard which is perfectly fine.

    On topic; map looks very interesting but I'm slightly concerned about framerate problems with all those objects visible through the glass. Have you run split-screen testing? I know framerate problems are slightly reduced on Tempest but it's still something worth bearing in mind. You may get away with adding a few Line of Sight blockers in there to help things run smoothly.

    However, I'm reserving judgment on this until I actually play the map. I'll report back with feedback on gameplay.

    UPDATE (I don't want to get cautioned for double-posting so I'm posting feedback in this post): I had a run around in the map in Forge and I can imagine it playing nicely as an MLG map. In single player I didn't notice any framerate lag but you're definitely pushing the boundaries in certain areas. Here are a few points to consider:

    1. There are quite a few areas with z-fighting (where one object is merged with another, allowing the surfaces of both to be rendered, causing flickering). This will be a major contributor to framerate lag and will only take a few minutes to fix with precision mode nudging.

    2. The use of Stunt Ramps at the lifts is a nice aesthetic touch but these objects are big contributors to framerate lag so consider replacing them with something else from the inclines menu (Ramp XL, for example)

    3. There are a few areas where you appear to have been over-zealous with object usage. You should try to keep object density to a minimum - if you can use one object to accomplish something you're currently using 2 or more objects to accomplish, then consider replacing the multiple objects with a single one. This is most apparent around the bases for each team - I think there's a 5 x 5 Flat Block in the ceiling which is not serving any purpose other than increasing object density. (Though I may be wrong about the latter - it's an area you need to be careful with.)

    4. I noticed a gap above the top back corner of Red Base whose counterparts are filled in with inclines. I'd consider filling this in with something, though bear point 3 in mind when doing so.

    I obviously still haven't actually got a game in on this map so I can't say how it will play, but I can imagine it will play quite nicely. I particularly like what you've done with bottom middle. Nice use of objects creating a realistic underground feel.

    im just saying what best suites the gameplay of the map. you dont want an overpowered fighting environment. I understand what you mean but its just in my opinion. not trying to start anything:)
