God everyone didnt have to be so mean to me. I was simply explaining a story that had happened. My bad I dont want to ruin the minds of the youth here and corrupt them with "Not Killing" for weapons. Ill just go and stop commenting on things that i have the right to.
I usually stick to SWAT or Team Snipers, so TKing for weapons isnt an issue. But then you get those douche bags that intentionally TK when they didnt get the map that they wanted just so you boot them. When dickheads like this come along, I make sure no one boots them so they have to either stick it out like a normal person would, or quit and face the consequences. TKing is such a **** move, and shouldnt be done in any circumstance other than it being to a friend and the circumstance being really funny. There you go, TKing is like farting. You dont fart on strangers, you fart on your friends/bros/mates/pals/buds, because its hilarious.
Just remember boys and girls hit the boot button when it is obvious that the other player did it on purpose (aka teabag or shooting your corpse).
I hate when people are weapon snobs... I think people do this the most when you get the sniper on blood gulch first.
It just happened to me the other day. Some douche with the sword killed me for the shotgun which only had one shot left.
This isn't really like killing for a weapon, but it's a way that kids have got back at me before. On Countdown, when i took the sword, some douchey warrant officer that had 1 or 2 kills (no joke) followed me around and started shooting the **** out of me 'till i had like barely any life left, every time i came close to an enemy. Therefore never allowing me to get near an enemy, so he never got a betrayal because he never killed me, but he took down my shields and after a couple times he did this, i died. He took the sword and never got a kill with it, he just died in the first 10 seconds by a kid with a pistol. I hate kids like that that never play reach and only play to piss people off because they suck and have squeaky little voices to further piss me off.
Something really funny happened to me today while I was playing SWAT. I was in a game with a friend (guest on my Xbox), on Asylum, and he was being a total ****. He hates SWAT and always acts like a douche when I choose it, so he was purposefully meleeing me so my health was really low, therefore an easier target. I got the jack of this and started chasing him around, trying to headshot him and I managed to headshot another team mate in the Red base from near the Blue tunnel. It was totally random and I laughed my ass off for about 5 minutes after re-watching the clip. Ill probably end up putting it into my Fileshare.
Bungie should just remove Firendly Fire at all. If it would've never existed my KD(which is currently 1.30) would be atleast 1.40 not only cause i die because people betray me, i also miss kills i could've easily get.
Its an unfortunate part of online gaming. There are a certain number of pathetic no-lifes who feel that it's their god given right to have the best weapon. Fighting back will usually result in booting or spending the whole game being harrassed by them. As much as it pisses me off, if I don't get the option to boot, I turn the other cheek and carry on with the game, and add them to my avoided list afterwards. The only way to completely avoid utter douche bags who pull crap like this is to team up with enough friends to fill the team. Not always possible though.
It's unfortunate that people thing that being anonymous on the internet gives them the right to be a dickhead. If someone gets the jump on a power weapon I'd like to have, I usually just follow them for a bit. If they're good with it I'll provide support for them. If they suck, I'll loot it off their corpse. What really frustrates me is in BTB games when I get the tank on spawn and people stand directly in front of it, not letting me drive anywhere without running them over. The plan is I splatter them, they boot me, they get the tank. Usually I'll just sit there in the tank, not doing anything, after awhile the other team shows up and kills us both, or they get tired and move on to torment someone else.
