Does anyone still play this game? It's an HD remake of one of the best FPS games in my opinion and it's right next to Counter-Strike in terms of skill required and balance. It doesn't get the popularity it deserves, with about 200 players coming in per day and few matches starting up, but if anyone hasn't downloaded it, download the trial and check it out.

I really don't see how this game isn't more popular. Was it because people just don't care to play games that don't have shiny graphics? Was it because it was released on the same date as other popular Arcade titles? Was it because people felt it was meant as a PC-only game? I don't know, but if we can just get maybe...20 more active players in this game, I think it can be revived.

For any of you who haven't yet played this game, go download the trial. The only map you can play is Arena Gate. Arena Gate is one of the worst designed maps in Quake Arena Arcade, but it's still better than a lot of maps out there in the FPS world. It costs 800 points, which is equal to about $10, so if you decide to buy it, you're getting a lot more than you would normally deserve for that price. It has most if not all the maps from both Quake III Arena and Quake III Team Arena, as well as its own exclusives. So come on, go check it out. It's the best $10 you can spend.

Are you trying to troll me or are you just new to the Quake series? Quake 4 is a wannabe Quake game. Quake III Arena was the best Quake game. The best multiplayer game, for that matter.

You missed the point entirely. I'm trying to see if anyone here plays QAA, not Quake 4, and if they don't then I'm encouraging them to download the trial. Asking me to play Quake 4 over Quake Arena Arcade would be the equivalent of asking me to play Call of Duty instead of Halo. The difference is that big.

I was talking in the sense their both good, but you would probably have more people playing Quake 4 at the time compared to QAA. I'd buy it if i had money and i didn't mean to come off as a troll.
