Hi This map was an inspiration from halo ce PC, danger canyon and sidewinder. The map is medium sized with 2 levels. The map is meant for team play and suports Slayer, Bomb, CTF, KOTH, Headhunter, Odball, Stockpile and Teritories. Heres an overview to give you an idea The base structure's resemples that of sidewinder having 2 levels and a teleporter at the top that links to the central room. Once in the central room you can make your way acros the bridge and pick up the sniper, this is where elements from danger canyon come in. As in danger canyon there is a teleproter here wich links to the central structure on the canyon floor. If in need to get to the top level there are a couple of two-way teleporters close to the central structure on the valley floor that link to the top level. here are some screenshots Since these photos i have added a structure out of railings ontop of the central structure to break up the exposure from the bridge. WEOPONS LIST unles stated weopons spawn at 30 seconds DMR x10 (only 1 clip) asault rifle x4 sniper rifle x1 (spawns every 3 minutes with only one clip) rocket launcher x1 (spawns every 2.5 minutes with only 2 rockets) grenade launcher x 2 (spawns every 2 minutes with only 2 grenades) concusion rifle x1 (spwans every minute with 1 spare clip) plasma repeater x2 needeler x4 (only 1 clip) plasma pistol x3 needle rifle x2 (only 1 clip) VEHICLE LIST warthog-default x2 (spans ever 3 minutes) mongoose x2 I recomend to play this map with a large group. through playtesting a 4v4 match just seemed too small. I really like this picture. <3 Seriously though, that picture makes the map look really good for team games with lots of people, especially on Friday nights *hint* Pinohkio and other hosts *hint* It also is giving me a campaign sort of feel... Have you ever tried working an invasion around this? I guess I'll have to DL and see for mah self
I was just glancing through the images on this thread, not really reading but all your images brought me back to different Halo 1 maps. You definitely hit the mark for what you were trying to do. I thought this was a Danger Canyon remake at first. Nice work.
Oh ths looks very fun with a great mix of the feeling of a large map and the feeling of close quarters. I deffinetly see the inspiration and looks like a good sized map. I will download it as soon as I get back to Florida.
You nailed this one. I actually thought it was an infinity remake at first, then it ended up being like 3 maps in one. Great job. And I agree with Berb, Invasion would be intersting for this map. Maybe even race.
Thanks for all your feedback. I never thought of putting invasion on this but reading the coments i think an invasion slayer would work nice on this map, also adding race will be good. My favorite game in the halo series is halo ce so basing this map from it was a blast. again thanks for your coments
