    Nice screenshots! Nice use of the rule of thirds. I only have a problem with Tiger Claw and Sparkles. You might wanna try lightening them up a bit. Overall 7/10

    I'm pretty new to the screenshot world, and i always thought sparkles and tigerclaw are too dark. But i have to ask, what is the rule of thirds?

    I love the first one, but the last one hurts my eyes; tis a bit bright.
    I think you need more color in most of them.
    Great for a beginner. (Not that I know anything about screenies, lol!)

    Yeah, when i used to do screens, its so common to use the rule of thirds you dont even recognize using it. Anyways, they're not bad for beginner. They're just a little plain. The first pic is a little too dark, and the Tiger claw is nice, but the white light on the left side (jetpack?) takes away from the picture. I think you should experiment more with the light-and-water effect. Thats always a nice way to make pics. 7/10 But keep testing and making screens!

    the last 2 look good, and so does the 2nd photo, but they still need some work...

    i like the view of the sniper scope and the visor on the 2nd photo, and how detailed the spartan looks, but idk what is going on with that plain background/ plasma battery (you need to change that :p )

    the 1st and 3rd photo are really dark so its difficult to see the spartan, also like everyone else said the rule of thirds- the framing of the subject is perhaps the most important thing in a screenshot, along with the pose, so dont always place too much emphasis on the effect since its only a piece of the puzzle... just keep working on it!

    Thanks for all the positive feedback guys, I will continue to work on improving my skills and take all of your tips in mind while doing so.

    Still I have to ask, what is the light and water effect, is that the effect apollo uses a lot?

    Edit, im currently working with another effect, and this is one of my first pictures with it;
    Still trying to lighten it up a bit though,

    Oh sorry, I wasn't very clear with what i meant with "light and water effect". Basically, (SPOILER ALERT) you place a wall coliseum in the water just enough to have your body in the water without dying. Next you put on some FX (I think Purple and Juicy, maybe something else). Next you put a light in the water. Then strike a pose and it generally turns out like your Tiger Claw picture... that is how you did that pic, right? Once I get LIVE back, ill post an example of the effect.

    i dont actually know what its called, i just call it the light and water effect.
    Also, I noticed your newest picture. Its nice, but did you deliberately choose red? I personally think its nicer if you change the color of your spartan to white or black in the menu before loading, but eh. Experiment with grav lifts, grenades, basically anything that gives off light and you'll be improving in no time!

    ok, thanks for the explanation but that is not how i did the tigerclaw picture, for this is had pen and ink on breakpoint and fired an overcharged plasma pistol in a dark corner.

    Lol that's kind of close... not really with the effects though. But Apollo said he was gonna give out a full guide to the effect on Bungie Day!
