Looks extremely nice for a first map. Negative Seems to be lacking in color. If you have any budget left, I would consider fixing that. Positive The map has many interesting areas such as the "comfy grass area". You pathways aren't too large or too small. You used pieces in interesting ways such as the Large Walkways. The water adds some color to the map and breaks up all of the gray. Suggestion Instead of the lift with the one way shield door, you could make a one way shield door ladder. They look a lot nicer than the common one way shield door and they are easier to see when you are running by. P.S. If you need any more testers, I will be happy to help. GT is Knight of 0rder with a zero for the "O" in Order. I would like to try this map if you have a party going. It seems like it would be fun to play and I want to try it out.
I'm glad to see you got this posted alright. Testing was a blast and I really loved that little grass part of the map. It was a great use of the tin cups. I also liked the many pathways and height variations on the map, it really made gameplay more interesting and fun. For a first map, you did a hell of a job on it and with the post too. I can't wait to see your next project and I'm glad I could help test this baby. Great work. Oh and you made a typo in the first sentence. "Halo" Not "Haelo"
I remember all the changes you made to the map. I remember all the bickering you made of the map when clearly it played fine. It's a pretty good "first" map. Sure, there's texture cluster f*cks, but for the most part is pretty consistent. I haven't heard a single complaint except for "ffffffuuuuuuuuu- I fell in the same body of water AGAIN"; that was probably me. Oh well, look forward to your next map.
I remember testing this with CareerGK, Jackson, and Eightball. I really liked how it played with KotH, but when the hill moved to an area in the middle, it was too easy to just pick off kills from above and prevent anyone from going in the hill. I'm not sure if there's any way for you to fix this, but it isn't a huge problem anyways, so I'd say leave it. This was easily one of the best non-MLG KotH maps I've played, and I'm going to download it and see if I can play it in the future. Keep forging, SXM.
Hey, I remember this, I played on it. I fell off of it a lot. Ok, the map was pretty good with size and good on gameplay. Color was missing which is a bit of a bummer but the weapons balanced out well. A suggestion would be to do what Knight said and create a shield door lift instead of using gravity lifts. They give away positions very quickly and players would prefer using the stairs or going around rather than informing the enemy. Good map though keep it up.
