Already played each of those on at least one of my gamertags. That's makes up very little of the maps submitted. Almost 20 maps isn't much. Alright, agreed. Any further discussion will be done in a PM. I see no reason fighting about this. I could easily name twice as many symmetrical maps that are just the same level of quality, but that would be too easy. Conversation over. Back on topic now. Which reminds me, how will these submissions be judged? You didn't seem to mention that in the OP. Will they be judged on popularity like a few of the features here on ForgeHub or actual gameplay? I'm hoping it's the latter, but knowing ForgeHub it's probably going to be the former.

Keep these contests coming... This contest may seem silly to some, but for others it is inspiration that gets recognition. Why else would we spend countless hours in forge world.... A thread should be created primarily for these contests. One each month posted by a employee of the website and the players who submit the maps are the ones who test them to judge on the winner. It can be a standard post each month that features a contest that is voted on all month long. At the end of the week, someone wins. Just a thought.

Probably longer, he has more than a few maps to get through which means he's going to have to organize a lot of matches with people in order to get a proper idea of how each map plays. I think Broc (and possibly someone else) is helping him with the judging, but it will probably be the next cycle or possibly the cycle after before we see any results. Relax, go play some Halo.
Mine will not win, it is my first competitive map EVER, looks like it has no chance, but since your a very kind man for holding this competition Rho, I believe you should have this new car i bought, oh my somebody left a suitcase full of cash in the trunk, i should probably turn it in, unless you would like to "borrow" it from me
These maps shouldn't be too hard to set up games for be cause the majority of them are 2v2 or smaller parties. But since the parties are small it is hard to get good matched and fair games, which are 100% necessary for a contest like this. Regardless rho said he had alot on his plate right now so it might take a while, but then again I don't really give a ****
i heard him I think tuesday in the chatbox looking for testers... i couldn't be one because i entered so i don't know if he found anyone but he said he would be done by the end of the week ... but anything can happen so best case by the end of today or tomorrow
Testing and judging are done. I just need to make a video. I don't know if it will be done by the site update though. Would you guys be unhappy if it was just a write up instead? I don't have my capture card available.
A vid would be cool, but a write up would be fine. You've probably already ran yourself rugged testing everything, so you'd be excused for not applying that extra little bit of effort by making a video. By the way, how did those chocolates taste? Superfluous? ;D
