Pythagoras' Balcony is an small, 1v1 map made specifically for the Forge Hub 2x2 Bank Contest. It is set off the side of the coliseum open to the rest of Forge World. It has three levels of gameplay (which I thought was impressive considering the restrictions) that allow for a great dynamic 1v1 experience. Players will find that all structure has been made from one piece: the 2x2 bank. Other than that, there is not much else I can say that a picture can't, so here's the (short) weapon list and then several more pictures (since that's all you care about anyway -.-).

    Weapons:

[Weapon x Quantity - Spawn Time]

    Plasma Repeater x 1 - 50 sec.

    Spiker x 1 - 70 sec.

    Plasma Grenade x 1 - 40 sec.

    Moar Pics!

The Spiker makes a pretty badass power weapon

    That's about it.
I hope you enjoy this little project of mine as I thought it was rather unique.

Organite you smexy beast, this looks sick. I love the whole balcony idea and the map name is just as good as the map. Lots of creativity for a map made out of banks. I can see you tried to come up with a layout that was unique. I'd really like to see what else you can do. Goodluck on the contest.

nice idea, good name, looks great. here's my pros & cons:

    Pros
    -good layout
    -cool weapon holders
-good balance, no real good power weapons
    cons
-on the top, the floating banks somewhat bother me. they look real out of place.
-cannot support many players ( I think that you should expand it a bit, so it can allow bigger matches)
    -nothing else. :]
overall, this looks good, good luck in the contest. (although not too much, i am entering too.)

Oh. I suppose I should mention that the floating banks aren't there anymore.
They were put there for a purpose that was never utilized so I removed them.

As far as player count, I've found that 1v1 maps are really fun to design because you are given a lot more leeway as far as design and aesthetics since the map does not have to accommodate for very many players at all. I'm sure Rorak and Nexn can agree with me there ;)

Ahh, but did you ever use pythagorus' thereum during the conception or creation of this map?

I think not, and so I refuse to DL.

Seriously as 2x2 bank maps go this looks like one of the most dynamic I've seen. Still though I'll need to give it ago sometime!

Thanks for all the comments guys.
I can't wait to see how it fares in the contest (despite not knowing what the reward for winning is >.<)

And yea Teddy, we do need to play this.
In fact, we need to play on something period that isn't one of Zeni's abominations lol

Very unique. I like this, very well balanced design, this definitely provides a unique game play experience. I do however have to agree with D3ATH EYE the floating platform does kind of throw me off, great map though.

very nice for only using 2x2 banks. I love how you made the spiker and plasma repeater into power weapons. You are constantly in a struggle for the highground and everything is close range. So, i feel like the weapon selection was excellent. a shotgun would've been too dominating on a map this size.

Floating platforms aren't there anymore ಠ_ಠ

I agree. I had one on there for a split second and realized the harm in that before even finding a place to put it, lol.

Totally just copypasta'd that up yonder.

:( I'm not in any screenies? lol
This played pretty well for a map this incredibly small.
The "tac jump" IMO is more of a "jump".
    :p
