Timeline: What the hell?! It is very important for what I'm working on for these damn things to spawn properly! Why are they becoming less and less accurate with time?
Dunno. I've made two Halo ball minigames and never had a problem. How are you setting them to respawn in 4 seconds, as opposed to instantaneously which seems to be the default? Does the spawn sequence number affect this? I've never played with it. Does the same gametype work if you make a new test map with just a single ball spawn and kill zone?
As in it takes four seconds to fall into the death pit and respawn. No traits have been edited other than the gametype label. =P
I don't think you can change anything but the initial spawn time of the ball. The spawn time you set dictates the respawn time of the hill marker, which is, in fact, indestructible and invisible. You cannot set a respawn time for the ball itself. So the ball will always respawn instantly. I know that isn't your problem, but what you're trying to accomplish can't be done, anyway.
Right, I understand that part. The problem is the fact that the ball that is supposed to respawn instantly is not respawning instantly, or ever, in some cases. Although I have come to the conclusion that the more objects you have labeled "Skee_Ball_Object", the less accurate the "Ball_Spawn_Loc" objects become. So, problem solved, I just had to go about accomplishing something a bit differently.
Is the map in question on your file share? If so, can you provide a link for me to DL and take a look at it tonight?
