I'm really trying to get creative with Invasion walls, while working on my thin thin budget, so is it possible to set removable Soft kill boundaries?

    Edit:
Is it possible to set the UNSC as Green Team (or any other color) and the Covenant as the Purple team (or any other color)? Is it the color that defines which team an objective is for? If so, is there any way to distinctify which colors go to which teams?

Removable as in they despawn at the end of a phase? I believe it is, just set them as Invasion Gates. I'm fairly confident I've played an invasion map that was set up that way.

Safe and kill volumes cannot be spawned by phase changes in Invasion like a weapon or vehicle, but they can be removed as gated objects. To emulate a spawned safe zone, fully overlap it with a gated kill zone. When the kill zone is removed, the safe zone will appear to have spawned.

Can you set both Soft Kill areas and Hard kill areas as walls? Both?

I see no reason you cannot use either type of kill areas for walls. But keep in mind that a wall that kills you when you don't see it makes a map unintuitive (bad) and frustrating (extremely bad). This is why people don't use kill zones for walls. Soft kill zones are designed to tell a player they have strayed off the playing ground (playable area). Hard kill zones are to speed up deaths that have no chance of recovering, such as falling toward the ocean or off a cliff. These uses are the intuitive and helpful uses of kill zones. Consider using them only in these roles to make your map more comfortable and reasonable to your players.

It was originally green and purple for the respective teams in the beta but for some reason bungie went angst and changed it red vs blue. Kinda gay and there is no work around unless you force everyone to be the same colour.

I liked Invasion better during the Beta than what it currently is now. I don't know why they changed it so much.
