You should be able to see most of the map in this video. It was a close game the entire time with red pulling out the last cap on a glorious warthog run. Nibbles looked on in disgust and wouldn't comment after the game. Map Design Intent This map is designed for fast paced BTB, but 5v5 works very well too. This map is built with objective games in mind. Any help/comments is greatly appreciated. Requires new Gametypes to play properly due to overshield . Hey there! This looks like a solid BTB map with a few nice touches here and there. I really like the crane and the little ship that can be seen on one of your pictures. One question: where does the teleporter lead to? The map also doesn't have a description? (why that?) PS: downloading
Ooh, this map... I remember testing this once a very long time ago in TGIF. I actually really liked the map and enjoyed the layout. When I played, I didnt really enjoy the power weapons but I'm sure the are fixed now. Are the teleporters still in the same places? I see blue teams is... This is going into my TGIF playlist cuz I'm looking for good BTB maps
Finally posted This map was soo much fun to play on. I loved the aesthetics, especially the crane. The power weps on the map were not overpowering at all and the gameplay was very enjoyable. I don't like maps that have structure and natural terrain like this, but wow, this map is such an exception. You always do a nice job at mixing in structure with natural enviornment and you add some nice aesthetic touches that just makes your maps stick out. This one's a keeper. Hope to get some more games on it soon. PS: I love happy trees.
Nice tp see this finally released after all those tests I took part in. I love how you seemed to create your own geometry with Gully, as I went in forge a while after testing and found it difficult to name where things were. DL'd
This is probably my favorite Big Team Battle map out there. It just screams classic Halo, and its a brilliant use of the Island. Glad to see you got it done finally. I see some changes, like the overshields, so I'm interested to get another game in.
Played this tonight with Nondual, Ace, Meta, Kuroda, Vince, some other guys and yourself. I liked it a lot, I played terribly because I was complete trash tonight for some reason, but it played really well. I did say about half way through the game I wasn't a fan of the turrets, but they weren't game breakers.
Whatta map this is. This map is so mappish, I once heard it mapped a map right upside the map! Map before you map, that's what maps always say. No but really, this map is a pretty cool guy that doesn't 'fraid of nothin. Not even a map. Now for the serious post. Bows, you did an excellent job with this map, from performance to spawning, and all the way to every form of objective games. It's one of the few big team maps that's actually good on Reach so far. Great job, man. Reach needs a big team feature, and this'll be it.

Thanks for the shoutout I was only there when you first started making it Anyway, this is a pretty balanced BTB map and does seem very "classic" halo. I would have preferred this over Bungie's Paradiso in fact.

This looks gorgeous! I used the large platform and antenas similarly in a mining themed map to create a crane. Everything flows wonderfully, and looks absolutely fantastic! The structures are spot on to what you'd find in a dock and provide great cover for firefights. It also fits well into the environment, just to reinforce the aesthetics. Great job! Thx, The theme and the way it fits is with the area just makes it feel more wholesome. I dont feel like any particular aesthetic in the map is downright "**** your pants" awesome, but it all fits together. I added a video to the OP and some extra details about the map now that i have a new keyboard.
Great job, this map is very aesthetically pleasing, looks great for gameplay too. I think that's my favorite crane made in Reach so far. It gives good area distinction to your map as well. The crates on the dock are a nice touch, gives a strong impression of a dock\loading area, as well as effective cover. Good forge
updated map, too many people were complaining about the v6.11 being too confusing. I also shifted a few rocks around in two areas. 1. the medium rock to the right of red snipe has been lowered slightly. 2. rock arches were added next to the walkway large in the blue base, cutting off a campy corner.
So many maps are built in this area now, I understand that though it is a great zone to make a map with a great gameplay just on the original design. Ok, the map. I love the port with the crates, it added scenery and some movable background which is rarely put in maps. The braces slash 1x4s look well put and fills in the map. The warship was also a good touch and cover and range seems fairly fit with all the rocks but I cannot say for sure. Great looking map, I will download it in a few days whenever I get back to Florida.
I think the map looks great, but I can't truthfully say I have enjoyed the flag game I have played here. I feel the flags are too difficult to get out of base, yet still hard to get back as well. Maybe my team was just scattered or maybe I just don't like losing (probably that second one) but I have not enjoyed trying to steal the flag from either base in the games I have played. Between flag steals however, this was great for DMR fights and fun for vehicular play (with the exception being trying to turn the warthog around after an assault on blue base, there didn't seem to be anywhere else to go while red base had multiple entrances/exits.) Still, congratulations on the FHF, though I feel Gully still has some issues it is still an enjoyable experience playing on here! Keep up the great BTB maps man!
