~Middle Lamella~ Hey its Galaxy and im back for my second map (hopefully better than the first yes?). This map is called Middle Lamella! I really didnt have inspiration on this map i really just had goals. I wanted to create a small-team based symmetrical/multileveled map that mixed together long(ish), medium, AND short range combat as well as keeping it a map for fast-paced games. I tried to infuse some color into to avoid forgeworld's nasty grey, but i only used red, blue, and yellow objects but i still think the colors turned out nicely. Anyways i guess ill just tell you the core weapons and features of the map and then some screenshots to top it off Weapon/amount on map/spawn(location) Rocket/1/180 (Middle, top floor in the open) Energy Sword/1/180 (Middle, ground level) DMR/4/30 (upper walkways) Needle Rifle/4/60 (upper walkway corners) Plasma Pistol/2/30 (second floor walkways) Concussion/1/120 (Blue corner 2nd floor) Grenade launcher/1/120 (Red corner 2nd floor, opposite of concussion) Spiker/2/30 (upper walkways, neutral [yellow] bridge landings) Plasma grenade/8/25 (multiple places) Frag grenade/6/25 (multiple places) -There are -4- cannon men, 1 on each corner of the second floor that shoot up to the top middle by the rocket spawn. -The shield doors on the second floor mark death zones they WILL kill you (no exceptions ^_^) so dont jump of the walkways if you want to live. Top Middle Cannonmen on 2nd floor along with shield door kill zones Upper Walkway (long range corridors) Energy Sword spawn on ground level in middle 2nd floor middle. I originally had a shotgun placed here as it was fun against my friends with just a couple people spamming power weapons, but i decided to take it out because i didnt want to many power weapons on the map, i think i might have come close as it is Well thats it, if ya got any questions/comments/criticism/advice im all ears tell me what everyone thinks!!!
First off, I like the map. I am going to be a bit picky with one thing though which is the sword. If you truly want a four way symmetrical map I would suggest moving the rock and putting it on a stand or something so it can be accessed by each side equally. Same goes for the med pack in the last picture. I would suggest having four of them out on the sides instead. Other than that I like the simple concept and you've done a nice job on lighting up the dull gray that is forge. Solid 7/10 clean and simple
