I wanted to prove both of you wrong, but I can't, mostly because I can't remember a time I've given something not related to gaming on time. On a separate note, this one being directed to Rho; are we allowed to use shield doors? I really need something to block fire other than a wall of capture plates (which are starting to annoy me because they're opaque), and also is it better if the map we create can be used with more than just the gametype the map was made for?
Nein. If its not in the list in the OP then its not allowed. Youll just have to use your creativity to make some more cover. On separate matters, the 17th?? Wow. Just wow. Not trying to insult other people, but I got the majority of my map finished within one night. Only because I had nothing else to do that night, and I understand that a lot of other people dont have that much time as real life gets in the way (stupid life). But I think 2 weeks was a little excessive, one week probably would have been sufficient in my opinion. But Im not the instigator of this comp so I guess it doesnt matter what I think. *shrugs* More time to playtest for me, I guess. XD
I agree, this shouldn't take more then a week. Testing should be the biggest factor. Most people had there's done in the first few days. This is just a case of Tz laziness I just don't want to set ANOTHER date. EDIT: Lol at it being re stickied
Another set of questions, well, actually just two: Am I allowed to submit multiple maps? Am I allowed to help my friend make his map if he submits it under his own user?
Aww, I was hoping you would say yes to multiple maps... I have three maps made out of 2x2 banks because I couldn't decide on one idea... I guess I'm gonna have to playtest them and ask around to find which I should submit.
Okay I kinda rushed my map cuz I still thought the deadline was June first but now i know I have some more time. If I wanted to, could I switch the map I already commented in as long as I still submit only one map?

I think its really cool you guys made this challenge to include only 1 object, the most important shape in construction. The Triangle. This should really get the creative gears turning...

You should do a contest for 1x1 Block flats next time. That would be epic. Or maybe even something different like Brace Tunnel. I could see a lot of Foundry clones coming out of that one. If you turn the Brace Tunnel upside down, it looks amazing aesthetically. Making a map only out of it would be difficult though. Making a map out of any one piece is difficult.

I propose that, due to the popularity that this contest has gained in its duration, the winner deserves a front page announcement, possibly a feature. I also propose that and related contests are to have announcements for its beginning and winner as well. Doth any fine man concur?
I've said time and time again that a feature would be ridiculous and undeserving. This contest was made for fun, and the prizes have already been mentioned. You WILL be on the front page, just not in your own thread.
