gametype help

    I made a small arena for killball dodgeball. Unfortunately I can't think of a way to score properly. I can only make a game that would count how many times you die. How could I make a game that would make the best player win instead of the worst player losing?

    Well Kill ball kill counts as a suicide (even though it says Guardians).

    So, to answer the scoring problem, in the Game type settings set the suicide points to -1 (or more) and the more a player dies by suicide/kill ball they will get a lower score than some one that did not die as many times from the same things will score higher.

    I appreciate you response but I knew this. I knew that it would count your deaths, but not your kills. At the end of the game the winner would be the guy who died the least. I want to make the winner have the most kills. i could just make it KOTH.

    I...Don't really understand.

    If the aim of the game is most kills, then why not set it to slayer?

    because in my game you have to shoot killballs at your opponents with a concussion rifle. However that won't count your kills. It would only give you a suicide for dying. It won't count who kills the person. I don't want the the person who dies the most to lose. I want the best killer to win.

    I get what youre trying to do, but Im not sure if its possible. It may take a bit of creativity to come up with a solution to this, but Ill look into it. What have you tried so far?

    No, I meant what solutions have you tried so far to try and make your gametype work. Sorry, should have specified that ; ). Ive had a little bit of a fiddle around and cant really see any way that this could work as every kill made by the Killball, regardless of the reason it made the kill, will always be considered a kill by the Guardians. The only way around this that I can think of is to use a different object, but theres not much else that would work for what youre trying to do.

    Ill just make a few gamemodes and decide which ones are most fun during testing

    you could make it support territories and have it then when a player reaches the territory they get a point. :/
