I'm working on a minigame that involves KOTH. But in order to be played the way I had envisioned, it needs to be set properly. Heres where you come in, I want the Hill to be un-contestable. Meaning if everyone is in the hill, they will all be getting points. However I can't seem to find that setting. Which makes me wonder if it even exists. Someone said it does but we could not find it. Ok I have not tested this yet but I have had a wee idea you could firstly figure out how many teams will be playing it and this will only work if you are using coloured teams (so a free for all can only be achieved with a maximum of 8 people since there are only 8 colours) now when placing a hill place 8 on each spot you choose as a hill place them and set each to a team colour make sure they are all on the same spot and are the same size this way when any colour is on it they gain points if you have more than one hill remember to match up the sequence number so you dont get the hills splitting up to all different locations at one time and make sure you dont choose to play crazy king random spawns as your game style I am really not sure if this will work but let me know [br][/br]Edited by merge: bah it just cancels itself out never mind
I swear I saw that setting somewhere... It's not under "King of the Hill Settings" or "General Settings > Scoring" is it?
I'm not 100% you can do it with the on disc gametypes as they are "broken". I.e you can't also use spawn sequencing for any of the hills despite setting the hill movement order to sequenced. I suggest trying to find the patched Crazy King variant bungie put out there and see if it has the option to remove contesting.
