Eightball and I recently finished this week's weekly challenge; the Pillar of Autumn: LASO. Of course, we had a little help. Shout out to JGarb and Virus for sticking it through most of the game. (I apologize for booting you pre-maturely, Virus.) For us, it took a little over 5(!!!) hours to complete. Good thing none of us have lives! (lol jkjk) I ended up having about 318 deaths in the end, and figuring out why human beings are superior. So how long did it take you? How many deaths did you have? Was it hard? Did you use Tyrant's walkthrough? If you havent done it, do you think you will? /Discuss.
I can't remember how many times I save-quitted, or when I last had luck that bad. The drones always knew when to move, the hunters spawned, I ran out of ammo at the MAC cannon and the Plasma Pistol's had just enough ammo to BARELY fail at popping the Zealot shielding, leaving me with just the one that I just took on the field marshal with. To top things off, waiting for the chance to shoot the cruiser had the Zealots throwing plasma's and firing constantly at me even when I got in the gun! NEver got close to firing the second shot when waiting for the chance...eventually decided to not wait and see how actually using the gun from the start would go. My decision to do that part the normal way was rewarded with a sudden change in luck...
