    Map Name:MLG Invigoration

Map Summary: A symmetric room-based competitive map that contains six main rooms. Some of the rooms provide ways to get to the second floor while others provide power weapons. There is plenty of cover in most of the rooms except for top yellow. I found that most teams are successful when they set up on yellow landing as it provides lookouts to 4 of the 6 rooms. During play testing, I found that there is minimal screen lag for four local players. Thus, screen lag should not be an issue. Power weapons: Grenade Launcher and Sniper Rifle. Armor Ability: Evade. Heath Stations: 3x This map worked great for Team Slayer. I hope you guys enjoy the map and if you have any feedback to make this better, feel free to comment.

    Style: Competitive, room-based symmetrical map

    Game Types: Team Slayer

    Screenshots:

    Overview of the Map:

Grenade Launcher Spawn: Top Mid bridge

Sniper Spawn: In the back of yellow hallway
    [IMG]

Evade Spawn: Evade Room. The central room.

Bases: Each base has two entrances and are marked with a corresponding light.

Ramp Room. This is a very important room. It allows access to the evade room, to yellow hallway and to the second floor. (Please Ignore the grenade launcher in the picture. This is an older picture.)

Landing: This landing allows access to the ramp room and connects to top yellow.

    Yellow Hall Way:

Top Yellow: Contains yellow lookout which looks into the evade room
    [IMG]

Front Jump: Quick way to get from base to base. Also connects the bases to the evade room.

Well I actually see quite a few problems...

    1. It looks as though most of the rooms have one way in and the same way out, a good rule for 'rooms' is, have at LEAST 3 DOORS.
    2. The multiple variations in object colors is sloppy, it's just an easy way out of having to spend time on aesthetics.
    3. One single game type, really? People make lame excuses for only having slayer set up, such as, "It is only good with ________." LAME. go onto YouTube and look up how to set up game types.

Otherwise, work on your layout, seems a bit too casual for MLG.

Dude don't be so harsh. I understand his flaws and can see where you're coming from, but it did take some time so at least try to give some compliments.

Anyways I found that much of the map was enjoyable though there were some of the problems stated above it was an overall enjoyable game with tight corridors slightly mixed into this one main open area. It was actually fun even with those problems, overall good job on the map it was fun to play! :D

I only stated one gametype since it was the only gametype I play tested. As I made this map for a community event. I'll see if I can rope up a few people to test out other gametypes.

I'll also try to work on the aesthetics as I do have a good amount of budget left to spend.

It is not a bad map, it has things here and there such as the strict movement but it looks neat and shaped in ways rarely made. Yeah, it could use more gametypes but I surely understand the long and restless time switching from all the gametypes just to have people only play headhunter or capture the flag so I can deal with team slayer only.

The man cannon was a pretty cool touch as well. Overall, if you gain more patience, you can polish it out more and add aesthetics and those gametypes. Don't let people harshly down your map, they need to understand the difference between criticism and a negative comment.
