The idea for mine came from the Metal Gear Solid series. Most of the characters have code names that are comprised of an animal and a weapon. For example Revolver Ocelot, Vulcan Raven, Sniper Wolf. So we (a few friends and I) came up with some of our own like Bazooka Bobcat and Lead Locust. Super nerdy I know haha

I was playing a Custom Forge Gametype called Forge Wars where each person is in a different team and they build their own little base somewhere in Forge world. I sniped my friend in the head multiple times and the words that came out of his mouth was, "Legit for real dude?" So yeah.
Mine originated in Halo Wars. I used my brother's account (we shared) until he got a PS3. Anyways, I hated the names he came up with. I kept trying to think of names but I couldn't think of anything that I actually liked. So back to the part where Halo Wars comes into play...Me and my friends have our main "Heroes" that we use, mine being Arbiter (before and after he was nerfed, if you know about the patches they released). I liked to use Scarabs a lot and because of the "Wuv Woo" skull they would shoot out rainbows and hearts and bubbles. This caused me to name mine Major Hugs. Naming him also encouraged me to build more strategies around him so that he wouldn't die as often. It was soon after this that I decided that I didn't care if my name sounded serious or not, so I changed my name to Major Hugs. My friends liked the humor of the name, but they kept saying that I should change my gamertag to Doctor Hugs. Well, before I did that I changed my name 2 more times to various random things. Then I decided to switch back to the Hugs theme, but instead of using Major Hugs I decided to use Doctor Hugs so that it wouldn't be repetitive. Yeah, long story, I know.

I make sandwiches. HotLikeStove. I have used many usernames before, from jmike9(8) to Erithian, but when I got my new Xbox 360 on XMAS'10, I had to think. And think, and think. I needed a new, original name, without numbers, x's, z's, or even o's. My premade name was, of course, SoggyMugsomenumbers. It sucked. And then, after playing some Black Ops (which is really bad, by the way) I figured I would use something cocky. Hot. HotLikeStove! I had it. The most beastly name in the universe was now mine. Of course, I have had some doubts in the past, but I think I'll keep it. It certainly brings all the ladies to the yard! Like when I played Black Ops (which is really bad, by the way) almost EVERYONE in the SnD lobbies would comment on my name, saying things such as, "Hey wazzup HotLikeAStove!"
