    Forge-ZERO:

Just an amateur race map here with a few gimmicks i threw in here and there, this is my first half decent race map that I've made thanks to the inspiring forgers on this forum, it's a little rough in parts but i tried tom make it as close to smooth as possible, hopefully people will enjoy the gimmicks i threw in particularly the last one.
the map was inspired by two f-zero tracks in particular, Undulation and Aero dive.

(please ignore all the clutter in the images i forgot to remove the menus and such)

Anyways here's an overview of the map:

    Here's the race start:

Directly after the race start there is a long bumpy road similar to that of undulation except with a flat top to save some budget.

...followed by a corner leading to a short straight with bouncy one way shield doors and a tricky vehicle lift (props to you if you can pull it off).

After a couple more bumps the road thickens and round the corner are a series of jumps inspired by aero dive, the track descends into a loop turn with a small jump in between.

Round the corner from the jump is a half cylinder like in undulation but with gaps in between though there is only one noticeable gap which could cause a hindrance, overtaking can be a pain.

The road thins out and is made with window colosseum's they are slightly uneven but it's meant to be like that.

The next part is difficult, like earlier the road is filed with one way shields and landmines, try to aim straight through and try not to bounce off course, if the shields don't get you, the mines will, expect a lot of mongoose flipping here.

i also made a small observation tower for those who want to watch or mess around in, it's also where the re spawn points are so if you die before a checkpoint, you re spawn there.

I also added team spawn points for whatever reason if you wanted to just mess around in forge on it/mess about, either ways these are the observation rooms.

If you want to get back into the game then take the teleporter down to the race start, jump through the window and get back in the action!

i hope that you download and enjoy this racetrack though i have only tested it solo it has plenty of room for up to 4 players so try it out with friends. sorry if it's a bit clunky but if your looking for a solid eye-catching and challenging racetrack then this might not be fro you, this is a casual, semi-challenging mess about with friends type racetrack and though it's a little rough on the edges surely it can be overlooked with the game play.

if anyone finds anything wrong with the map please tell me i used up all my kill boundaries though hopefully i can think of something. also don't ask me to improve this map aside from bugs and stuff just give me tips on how to make a better racetrack next time, it saves me from having to remove and re-add it to my file share constantly as i don't have budgie pro and i have no space besides I'd rather start anew. if nobody likes it then i may remove it from my file share, only if the thread dies, if that's the case the mods may as well delete it anyways and i will make a notification of it just in case.

either ways just enjoy the map be it good or bad comments are welcome and criticism is also welcome.

map removed from fileshare due to an important request

cool. my only problems: 1, in race, respawn points don't matter. you automatically respawn at the last checkpoint. 2, for the turn after the bumps in the beginning, you put a duplicate pic to the one above. it also doesn't show the turn. 3, a some things look too uneven. see if you can smooth it out just a bit. overall though, this looks great, and really reminds me of F-zero. keep it up!

    No can do

1.i put them there anyways it doesn't seem too much of a problem to me and doesnt affect it in any way
2.whoops i'm gonna have to edit it again
3.that was the best i could do, the co-ordinates couldn't connect to the other parts of the track vertically, editing this map will ruin it, when i tried to make my last map smooth it turned into a complete disaster co-ordinates can't link vertically. smooth racetracks can only be made using thick blocks, thin blocks are always uneven and the co-ordinates will never fix it. if smoothness is that important then i'll just stick with aesthetic maps. besides i already said that i wouldn't edit the map and even if i did it wouldn't change because it's impossible to do, sorry.

Eitherways as long as it's enjoyable thats all that matters i'm not aiming for a top notch racetrack here because i can't make them.

you can attempt to make it smooth by clicking in the left or right thumb sick, i cant remember which right now, and you'll notice that the peice will raise or lower elvelation in tiny increments rather than a huge step. i dont think it applys to rotation but i still do it that way
