Is there a FFA gametype with scoring, but not slayer? Like haloball, stockpile, etc.? I need this for a voting system for 16 people. Can you help? Thanks!
FFA gametype with scoring? You mean the score is based off kills? Sadly no. But if you really wanna get around it you can make some kind of contraption in forge where everyone who spawns sets off something to get a point or something. It's a long shot but only way I can think of to get it done.
headhunter and KOTH are out. I want to NOT kill people. It's a VOTING system. For now, people will shoot a fusion coil with focus rifles. "by show of lasers..."
Hmm, what you want to do is very confusing, could you provide us with some more details as to exaclty what you want to do, then maybe we(people who know what they are talking about) can give you a bit more advice.
How do you expect the votes to be tallied? I'm not quite sure I fully understand your goal with this.
Welcome one and all to KOGU clan hall. I will call a vote- shall War Hero be promoted to sub-leader? To vote yes, fire your focus rifle at the central fusion coil. A voting associate will tally your votes. Its for a Clan Hall. I wanted it so everyone had a flag in their hands, and could walk into a scoring zone to vote yes, or with hold their flag to oppose the vote. OR a manual voting system, like the fusion coil that can't be blown up. OR everyone rolls in a golf ball in a voting booth. Stuff like that. Not a fighting map, a meeting and voting map. Do you have any idea how hard it is to sort out 10-16 people's yay's and nay's at once?
If they're just voting for one option or the other, why not just use Haloball or Stockpile, set up a red and blue score zone (e.g. red = yes and blue = no), and have them place their "vote" (flag or ball) in the appropriate zone? I'm not quite sure why it needs to be FFA. You may also be able to set up multiple team goals - I haven't tested this with either gametype, but both might support it. But then you're limited to however many team colors Reach allows. I think that's 8.
Only 4 teams are allowed on Haloball/stockpile, with a max of 7 flags on stockpile. I wanted FFA so the people can have their rank color displayed. Thanks, I'll try haloball red/blue voting booth, with energy swords as skiball object.
Yeah I think that's as close as you're likely to get - I can't think of a true FFA scoring system along these lines.
