just to show you this up front, and not four posts down, these are the other two versions i made: this one is without borders and an easier to read quote Well, i started out with the picture. what do you think? im just putting this up there because it is my first sig and i wanna get some advice for making future sigs.. this took me over an hour straight doing this, and i just want criticism or help with it. the whole sig is made using the clone stamp tool. i took the general area around the girl-you can probably tell where and i used the clone stamp to create everything past her arm and the back of her sword. my personal favorite part is the hill in the bottom right hand corner. also, should this replace my current signature? thanks
Well I wouldn't say replace this with your current sig. But for a first attempt this is pretty darn good. I actually reckon you did a pretty good job of getting the girl out of the picture =] Of course using a high resolution image would make it look better overall. So I suggest making it about 75%-50% of it's size currently and it would look a whole lot better. There are some small blending issues I think would help the overall look and a border would make it better, in my opinion. Apart from that this is a pretty decent first sig. My first sig on the other hand, makes this look like crown jewels.
lol thanks. i posted it on your thread to show you it, but now i can see you have seen it. i meant to make the borders look a little ragged but i know i should fix them. and il post the resized image in a bit
this is the size 400x160, and i took the edges and just drew a rectangle over the borders. this is the sig in 350x140. I also sharpened the "even heroes fall" up to maximum so it can be read easier, but now it sorta looks like a graffitti font EDIT: your right reaper.. i probably shouldnt be doing this without my glasses on. but who cares?! i just took the whole day off from wearing glasses or contacts.. on accident of corse
