ISOLATION Hello all, welcome to preview on a map I have been working on. This has been made and remade several times, I now am feeling happy and am almost ready to put spawning on, gametypes and testing. Spawning and gametypes will be the same as halo 3, also gametype placement in ctf and weapon placement. It is probably one of the toughest maps to make a re-make of in my opinion. This is almost aesthetically ready. Hello. which hill do you mean? There are probably lots of little things that are missing, There are also some problems as the location I have chosen is higher on the left side, but it is the only spot I could make this map how I wanted ,including grass , rocks and trees as this adds to the isolation feel to the map that I feel are important.
Did you model this after a Halo 3 map. What game modes would this be for because it would look really good and fun for SWAT and Infection but that is just me. Can't Wait to download it.
Hello, yeah this is a re-make of isolation off halo 3 , I hope to get this as accurate as possible including having the same gametypes and spawns and the weapons are all down and in right places. Will add as many other gametypes too. Thanks scarecrow813
Thank you, need to get on halo 3 to see where is out and grab the spawn locations and I should have it ready for testing.
That one. Aside from the lack of hill, it's shaping up nicely. I haven't seen many Isolation remakes before and this looks like one of the better ones.
Thanks for the picture... I kind of guessed what was ment afterwards. And I have been back on reducing height of ceiling and raised the floor. The hill is important and I could feel there is something out between mid and top structures. I have made a ramp up but it seems I need to get creative and get that hill closer. Thanks
Yeah, the hill was the main structure to the map... easily one of the most important aspects of it. I wish you luck since Isolation was actually a pretty good map. Most people just didn't like it for some reason.
Thanks, I have added the hill and shrunk the top part down, really getting close, need to go back around and see if there can be improvements before I add spawns.

Thank you, appreciated! I will be taking a break after this map, but a co forge sounds interesting. The map has almost been finished now aesthetically...I hope, there are still a lot more comparisons I have to do, but I am happy with the looks of the map and different areas and rooms.I have shrunk the top building and raised it... it may need to go slightly higher. Looking forward to getting some gameplay on this map. Thanks
... this is a preview...... Anyway the map is suffering from screen lag. But I was making this to look right not be just blocks and rooms. If I remove all the aesthetics it may fix screen lag. Framerate was good in every test I did but the imense amount of objects is causing the flash effect ...this only happens when looking at entire map from either center side. .... but on the + it plays and feels right in game. I will keep working on ideas.
