Ubiquitous Created by Availablemoth Map Description Ubiquitous was designed to be a close quarters, intense encounter map. Although there are several game types available, I designed this to be a multi-flag map. The layout of the map is simplistic in design with a center courtyard, overlooked by two opposing bases. There are three entrances into each base via stairs, lifts, and Teleport's. Honestly, this is my first map to present to people, other than my friends, so I am bad at descriptions. If you like close combat, and intense objective games, then this is the map for you! Any suggestions and criticisms are welcome, and if anyone wants to help me play test this map send me a message! I love the open feel to the map, alongside with the color and windows giving a nice view. I also like how you add the grass to the center of it, that adds to the open feel to the map and comforting look. Good job on the map!
i like the maps layout, but is there framerate lag? The only problem i see with this map is the name. Ubiquitous just doesn't represent what you are giving.
The map looks beautiful from the first picture and very aesthetically pleasing. One thing you may want to reconsider is the openness of the map. From both the fourth and fifth picture it looks like you would be able to engage in long range DMR fights. I don't know if that was what you were going for, but you may want to consider adding more cover. This map surely deserves a download though.
Ah! This looks greats by those lights! It really looks like it will feature some intense CQC action! I will definitely download this one for sure!
I originally designed this map to be a CQC map, adding to that intense fights over different objectives. I placed all DMR's on the bottom floor, which will help out with initial DMR battles. I would like to do some more intense testing though, and I am always up for changes to occur. Thank you for your comments and suggestions. Speechee as far as I know there is little to no framerate issues on this map! I am aware that issues occur when using windows, and would be intested in testing this map further. The few times I tested this map it was hard to see if there was any framrate issues because I was playing with a couple of people that have horrible internet connections. As for the name of the map, I will be the first to admit that I am horrible at naming maps lol! Having said that, I think the name fits it somewhat just because people are everywhere on this map hints the name. Thanks for your comments, and I hope to recieve more instruction/critisims.
Nice, I like the open feel, unlike most of the maps I've played on. I don't quite understand the map name, but still great map overall.
Thanks for the comment. This was my first post to forgehub, and if I could do it all over again I probably would. Not that this is a bad map, but that the design is lacking compared to my more recent creations. As for the name, I will be the first to admit that I SUCK at naming maps, and I picked that name because it is a CQB map so I thought it was fitting lol. Anyways, thanks for the comment, and if you have anymore suggestions I am also up for listening. If you liked this map, then I am sure you will like my up and coming map, which has much better design and flow.
