Power Zone is a map I designed on Power House for a mini version of Invasion. It mostly came into an idea after seeing many people make Sword Base, Boardwalk, and even Countdown into Invasion maps but yet Powerhouse being fairly well sized remained almost never forged so I decided to give it a test run and ended up having a map that works well into sections. The gametype splits the battle into 3 sections, the Cliffside, the Office and Spillway, and then the Powerhouse. Gameplay starts off very close and very quick paced with only 2 minutes and only 10 seconds on the territory timers. Phase 1 Loadouts Elites and Spartans Loadout 1: Assault Rifle and Magnum 1 Frag Loadout 2: DMR Loadout 1: Plasma Rifle and Plasma Repeater Evade Loadout 2: Plasma Rifle and Plasma Pistol 1 Plasma Evade Loadout 3: Spiker and Plasma Pistol 1 Plasma Evade I think this one looks safe Then again, I always like a nice view After the Elites get passed the light defenses, the spartans get some real big boosts and gain equipment as well. The Elites also gain new weapons but must either hack the terminal and activate an increase on the pipe pressure or put more water pressure manually in the pumps by turning the rusty nozzle. If they cannot get the territories before the timer goes to zero, it resets to 10 seconds. The Elites now have 5 minutes to take this territory. Each side also gains weapons scattered over the field. Turrets are set on each side for defenses. Loadout 1: Assault Rifle and Magnum 2 Frags Sprint Loadout 2: DMR 2 Frags Hologram Loadout 3: DMR and Magnum 2 Frags Loadout 4: Shotgun Jet Pack Loadout 1: Needler and Plasma Pistol 2 Plasma Hologram Loadout 2: Needle Rifle and Plasma Repeater 1 Plasma Evade Loadout 3: Plasma Rifle and Spiker 2 Plasma Sprint Loadout 4: Plasma Rifle and Needler 1 Plasma Jet Pack Choices are always nice. Close but no cigar. Now here comes the true fight. The Elites must destroy the pipes to stop the dam from giving power for the UNSC. The bomb is set at the cliffside and must be taken to the Powerhouse within 5 minutes or the Elites would take too many casualties and retreat. The spartans will hold at all costs and have been given even more powerful weapons. The elites, however, have some tricks up their sleeves as well. The timer takes 30 seconds to set and will go off in 15 seconds. If it is defused, the elites must start all over and grab another bomb. Focus rifles and a ghost is set at the cliffside for elites and can help support the carrrier whenever he may be in trouble. Loadout 1: DMR and Magnum 2 Frags Armor Lock Loadout 2: Shotgun and Assault Rifle 2 Frags Sprint Loadout 3: Grenade Launcher and Magnum 2 Frags Drop Shield Loadout 4: Spartan Laser 2 Frags Loadout 5: DMR and Assault Rifle 2 Frags Evade Loadout 1: Needler and Spiker 2 Plasma Jet Pack Loadout 2: Focus Rifle and Plasma Pistol Drop Shield Loadout 3: Concussion Rifle and Plasma Repeater 1 Plasma Active Camo Loadout 4: Sword and Plasma Pistol 1 Plasma Loadout 5: Needle Rifle and Plasma Rifle 2 Plasma Sprint Not just one... ...but two?! I think its great! You did a great job using Powerhouse to your advantage and actually using the default items which isnt seen a lot. You story is also amazing and I like you you alternated between hacking to water pipes and even their electronics being blown up. That is a great idea and map, and Im glad you thought out of the box and used Powerhouse great job! Ill DL and possibly get a few games on it, you know to see where weapons are and things like that.
+1 dl, good job. This sounds like a solid infantry Invasion experience. I like the idea of loadouts with more of a variety in weapon choices and grenade sacrifices.
I must say that I really like it when someone reforges some of bungies work so that it can support invasion. Makes it a lot more fun in my opinion. Keep up the good work.
