Just have to say that this map looks awesome! how do you make your maps so original? when I'm trying to forge it allways ends up looking like another map. . .
Team Snipers or FFA Snipers is an absolute blast to play on this. Even though im ****ing terrible at sniping.
I downloaded this map quite some time ago and have played in numerous times since. It has a very unique gameplay and I highly suggest for anybody reading this comment to use this map for SWAT or snipers. Both of those gamemodes work exceptionally well. good job on the map bro
Hmm, this thread seems to have been bought back to life. Thanks man, overal im very happy with the map, the H3 was riddled with problems so im glad to have been able to address them in Reach. thanks man, originality is my main aim when forging. the best way to create something original is to have a scenario in your mind and then try to forge it. taking an object from real life, or a real life war theme etc helps. Thanks man, it means alot to get get good feedback from an established forger like yourself. Thanks Thanks man. I found snipers to be the best gametype for the map. I havnt actually played swat on it but i can imagine its pretty good. Thanks for all the great comments guys.
The map design is amazing and I LOVE it. I'm keeping this map forever. It's completely unique, and the layout is pretty awesome. I only have two problems with the map: It's too open and there isn't enough cover. Also, I think you should switch the tele to a grav lift, it's too easy to just camp and wait for some one to go through it and take them out when they do.
I played this the other night with a friend and we had a really great time on it. It would be even more fun with more players because of the shear scale of the structures, so I will have to test it out with some more friends tonight. The circular flow is unique and the massive scale of the dam give it the feeling of solid construction. Great map!
This looks amazing! The way you built everything to be connected is also something I really like about this. However I'm just judging by the pictures, and I hope the gameplay lives up to my expectations. I'm worried some of the areas you left empty or bland may overtake the other beautiful areas that you have built. This also looks like something that should be built for invasion. Like trying to take over a dam and steal the core from inside, something like that. Otherwise, this looks like a very well made map, good job!
God I hate to bump this thing again. This map has become a staple in my group. The contention for the rocket bridge is always good fun. LOS is great everywhere and the curving dam structure breaks it up nicely as well as naturally. The high lookout areas (BR spawns) are great risk vs reward perches. Stick your head out for too long - get sniped. Don't watch your back - get it from behind from a teleporting enemy. Very nicely done on those. The only complaint I've heard is the hard kill vol above the rocket bridge area, but that complaint's only from jetpackers and they can suckit.
