EDIT: This map also supports Multiflag, Team Slayer, Assault, Neutral, One Bomb, and King of the Hill; not just Territories.

    Fight to the death.

After discovering what little space I actually had to forge a map without any outside interference, I longed for the days of forging in Halo 3's Sandbox. In Forge World, the Canyon, Quarry, Pillar, and Island were all originally made to support Bungie's classic and newer maps. (To be honest, I really hate the Island.)

I realize that the forging community has made plenty of amazing creations using these enviornments, but I wanted to make something that was fit to be forged in the original Sky Bubble. No hills, rocky surfaces, water, or beach to begin with - basically all those things would be background visuals only. And after hours on end of forging with all of that in mind, this map was the result.

Una Lucha a Muerte is a Big Team Battle map set in the sky. Red team is above the pillar, Blue team is above the Island. I wanted a good mix of controlled vehicle and non-vehicle action, a lot like what I enjoyed back in the days of Halo PC.

    Weapons:

    2 Sniper Rifles (1 spare, 90)
    2 Shotguns (2 spare, 150)
    2 Rocket Launchers (1 spare, (180)
    2 Grenade Launchers (4 spare, 150)
    6 Battle Rifles (2 spare, 30)
    2 Needle Rifles (2 spare, 30)
    2 Plasma Repeaters (30)
    8 Plasma Grenades (15)
    8 Frag Grenades (15)

    Neutral Weapons:

    1 Energy Sword (180)
    1 Spartan Laser (180)

    Vehicles:

    2 Scorpion Tanks (180)
    2 Rocket Hogs (180)
    2 Chain Hogs (150)
    2 Ghosts (150)
    4 Mongooses (30)

Each base has a two-way teleporter that leads to their respective walkway (picture right below.)

Each team has an outpost, with a two-way teleporter that leads to a narrow path under the middle of this map.

Corridors on both sides that lead to the room underneath the hill.

In addition to the platforms, players can also sneak their way from below. After all, it's important to control the center of the map.

This is another spot players will be fighting for. The path below is how most objective games should be won.

Forgot to take pictures of the bases' interiors, and I don't have anything rendered, so you might as well just download the map and flythrough yourself.

(BTW, I'm not sure how to get a picture of my map on the previous page like the others; I thought the "Map Center" pic would work fine.)

Sorry if this comes out wrong but in my experience it's best to avoid two way teleporters in reach due to the teleporter glitch. Where you will walk through them an d be teleported back to the original. It's best to use one way or not at all.

I don't know how the others weren't mentioned, but Territories is DEFINITELY NOT the only gametype this map supports. Team Slayer, Multiflag, Assault, Neutral, One Bomb, King of the Hill are all playable.
