I have recently came upon a problem on my new map while forging. The problem is that when I proceed to place a specific block in this general area it seems to constantly disappear. This block is a building block "1x4 block" and the area is on the island, above the weird metal tunnel thing, to the right and next to the lone tree near the edge of the hill. I have already placed mostly all the building blocks I can have with currently "11" to spare. If I place more near that area they disappear with the other ones. I also cannot bring my cursor over them, when I do they disappear. You can still collide with them, but they just don't show up. I am curious is this a disappearing trick on "Halo: Reach" or is it some glitch or bug in the game? If you know anything about it or how to fix it that would be greatly appreciated! Please Help?
The objects may have disappeared completely if they are too close to a boundary of the map, and they are automatically deleted. Otherwise they are just invisible but still there. You can test by seeing if you can walk through where the object should be. In the second case, search the forum. Other people have found this in random places around forge world. To delete the object, give a gametype label (it doesn't matter what label) to all other objects of that type (1x4 blocks in your case) then spawn a new one and hit delete all. The invisible object will be deleted, but those with a label will remain.
Exactly right. Anyway, I've discovered this is mainly only the Island. Me and my friends don't forge on the island anymore because of this.
